So pretty much the title says it all. Anyone else completely fed up and tired of receiving messages on ebay from americans complaining about tariffs and import fee's and then getting really aggressive when you explain simply that this is because of the tariffs their government put in place.

Its like they cannot comprehend what a tariff is and they think its "shipping" Im honestly over it, and have had hundreds of messages sounding the same even after I put it in huge red letters with a massive disclaimer in all my listings!

Anyone else in the same boat?

Hey just curious how everyone is going about navigating this new regulation that ebay has put into place for selling clothes and toys to the US if you are a reseller like myself who doesnt buy from a supplier but thrifts and finds items at garage sales and such.

Luckily I dont sell a ton of clothes at all, or toys and so my business isnt impacted much, but for those who are strictly those niches, how on earth are they expecting you to get a certificate for each individual item you list? Im assuming this is the end of selling clothes and toys in the US for alot of sellers here.

Hey there, my dad told me was experiencing an issue with the filters on the ebay app on his phone. Hes saying the "sold" filter disappeared and after checking it over myself it seems to be true.
He tried clearing cache, deleting data, uninstalling, reinsatlling, restarting phone, everything but it seems to have just disappeared. Any idea as to what might have happened?

The following is an email I sent to poshmark support and the CEO of poshmark Canada because my account got restricted for no reason out of the blue. After just a week ago I got reinstated because of a cancelled order that poshmark cancelled, not I. The order was cancelled after I mentioned and sent several reports in that the order was not tracking. I made it my mission to make sure to let poshmark know that this was something out of my control and that canada post had lost my package to avoid this outcome, yet I still got restricted for it.

I waited my 3 days to get reinstated and I did, and then a week after that I get restricted for no reason, and every single time I have attempted to have my case looked at, it keeps getting "resolved" without any explanation at all of what happened and why it did. I am honestly fed up with the AI system that clearly does not work for customer support with poshmark

The Email (it is long so be prepared)

Hi there I am a poshmark seller on poshmark Canada's app and I just had my account restricted today for reasons unknown to me. The reason in the email  says "Behavior violating our community guidelines" But I havent done anything since I was reinstated last week. I havent messaged any buyers, I havent cancelled any orders, I havent done anything wrong and my seller cancellations percentage is around 2.5%. 

The only thing I did on my account so far in the last week was list 16 items yesterday from my cross listing platform which isnt against terms of service with Poshmark. I did get a notification that 5 of those items were taken down by the moderation team which means AI decided there was something wrong with them. The problem with this is I have sold all of these items before on poshmark, with one of the items being a rice cooker, which I have sold many of on poshmark before.

Because of this I believe that the AI flagged my items wrongly and made an error if this is the case for me being restricted on my account. None of the postings that I made mentioned any other platform that I sell on because I know that is against the guidelines.

I am asking you to reinstate my account and remove whatever defect or ding that this restriction has applied to my account because I simply didnt do anything wrong in this circumstance. If the reason you want to keep me restricted is because you dont want cross listing or want to shadow punish users for doing it then I will really have to determine if poshmark is a place where I want to bring my business too since the guidelines are soo strict, and without any sort of customer service or live chat it is virtually impossible to know what you have done wrong (if you have) and theres no way to get in contact with poshmark if they have made a mistake which I believe that this is the case. 

I honestly feel like I am being discriminated against and not being given the tools to succeed or even have a chance at protecting my business because your platform is soo woefully unequipped in the customer service department. 

This isnt even the first circumstance like this. I have had orders cancelled by Poshmark itself because canada post has lost my package and failed to scan the package, and because of that I have been restricted in the past. I have opened cases with poshmark, emailed them, and tried everything to get in contact with them and by the time I get in contact with poshmark, the 3 day period for the restriction has already expired and I am reinstated. What do I do in this situation? Who is going to compensate me for the last 3 days of sales I missed, what sort of reimbursement or reassurance that poshmark wont screw the pooch again is there? There is none, and the majority of the time poshmark doesnt even get back to me about my emails or my open cases that I plead to them in this circumstances. This is horrible and for a huge giant e-commerce platform you think that there would be even a live chat bot let alone a phone number for a person to talk to. 

Anyway what I am getting at is that, this is a mistake on poshmarks end, and I am reaching out to the CEO in vancouver where I live myself, because this seems to be the only way to get in contact with someone who can actually do something which is unacceptable from a business standpoint. 

Please reinstate me and if not tell me why so that I can tell my fellow sellers on this platform that I talk with closely to also abandon this platform as well. 

I have attached my poshmark account and stats to this email so that you can see that I am a highly rated seller and that I provide excellent customer service and satisfaction.

I honestly dont know how a company as big as poshmark doesnt have a single live chat option or a phone call option. How do they expect sellers to use their platform and feel supported at all. Any insight is welcome into this.

Space marine 2 pvp is utter garbage compared to its predecessor. Yes I am refering to space marine 1 's pvp. I feel that it is a fair comparison since space marine 2 is the literal sequel to this game, and you usually expect a sequel to carry over some of the good parts of the previous game.

Lets get this straight, the PVE and campaign are awesome. This is just about the PVP.
I will try not to ramble too much. Ill do this in point form and expand on subjects that need clairifying.

Class specific balance.
Lets just get this out there, there is a clear lack of balance in this game with a few classes just being overtuned and not even close to being balanced.

The Assault.
Has the fastest cd on ability
Can kill you in 1 ground slam + hit or 2 ground slams

Who the fuck thought to give this class a third aerial charge for a third ground slam? like really, and who thought making its damage unavoidable and able to kill in 2 shots a good idea? The original assault from SM1 was made to do some damage but it didnt strip all of your armor and was able to be roll dodged if you timed it right.
Also I think the way they made the jet pack work actually way worse than it was before.
In SM1 the jet pack let you do 2 ground slams before having to wait a few seconds for it to recharge, but you could dash back and forth with the jet pack even while its main jump was on cool down which gave the assault really good options for movement and actually made you feel like you were a fast go burrrrr class which really brought speed and fun the game.
In SM2 just dashing forward or back uses 1 charge... which honestly why would you ever do that unless you are in really close quarters underground, because its just such a waste of a charge. They really went backwards on this one.
Honestly this class is one of the main reasons why this game's pvp feels soo unbalanced, and its because there is a lack of counters to them like there was in SM1.

The Tactical Marine.
This is a great class! and they really kept it pretty close to the original one in SM1 EXCEPT, they did not and totally fucked the class over. The point of the tactical is to have options, you are the swiss army knife of the game.

What is a swiss army knife if you do not have any perks to choose from? or have multiple weapons to run for different encounters.
In SM1 you could have a perk ( btw where the fuck did these go) where you could run 2 main weapons. Usually you would run a bolter type weapon and then either a long range weapon for the map you are on, or a close ranged one. I would run the melta gun, and it was awesome because it was great for close engagements. You could 1 shot a assault if you placed your shot correctly and it stopped assaults from just feeling untouchable, they had to really dance around you taking pot shots and weakening you before actually committing to a ground slam.
The tactical still has the melta gun yes, but you cannot run another primary, so you are pretty much stuck with a 4 ft super flashlight that doesnt even kill in 1 hit anymore. AN ASSAULT CAN MELEE YOU TO DEATH QUICKER THAN YOU CAN KILL THEM POINT BLANK IN THE FACE WITH A SHOTGUN. THINK ABOUT THAT.

Now as a tactical what really makes you versatile and well rounded? not much.

2. Movement
   The movement in this game is very sluggish. Is there a reason that we have to move like were running through a swamp of mud? It honestly just feels alot slower and that in turn makes the game alot more boring. Flanking is harder when you arent able to move quick, it makes the game stagnate into a game of fortress, where you turtle up.
   The movement in SM1 was faster and quicker, and actually made me feel like yea an astartes would run at this speed, but the speed in SM2 makes me feel like the astartes and out for a casual jog in the middle of a battlefield.

3. Maps and content.

I think we only have 5 maps in the entirety of this games pvp and they all are very basic maps, with it just being a copy pasta of the other side of the map. 5 maps, and all 5 are very uninspired. Each map feels like it is forcing you to enter close combat. There isnt a single map that is wide open that lets other classes like the sniper shine. Long range weapons in this game feel like a burden because of the map design, and they really play strongly to classes such as assault since they dont give you alot of room to see whats up in front of you and include alot of walls that assaults can just use to ambush you.
In SM1 the map pool was huge! and if I remember you could vote on which map you wanted to play which they completely did away with in this game.

They also did not include any new game modes from the original SM1, its literally a copy pasta of the games modes but with worse maps, worse balance on them, and less creative design.

Also why do we need to see 3 scenes of each map before every goddam game starts. Like fking start the game already.

4.Customization

This is the biggest let down in this game. The fact that each class in SM1 had a list of specific perks you could choose from which made every kit feel unique and different, is what made people love that game soo much. Just think, its pretty much call of duty but with space marines.
In SM2 every player that plays a tactical or vanguard etc is literally the same as the other players in the game, with the difference of weapons being the ONLY customization you can make. I am not sure why they did this, but this is literally going back several steps and is lazy and boring game development.

5.Servers & Quality of life

Lets be honest the servers on this game are actual dog shit. The average ping of any player playing this game is around the 180 mark, with there at least being 1/3 of the lobby sitting above 200 ping at almost all times. To put into perspective, to play a FPS and have it be fair where you can out play someone with your gun and have the game feel responsive , you need to be playing around the 50-80 ping mark. The average ping is more than double that.

Quality of life

You know whats dumb? not being able to chat with your team while you are in class select screen. You know whats even dumber? not being able to talk to the lobby while you are waiting during the map loading screen where it shows you those 3 split cut scenes of the map. Why can we not speak to our team mates, this is just lazy scripting in my opinion.

How about game wait times? Honestly you wait about as long to get into a game and for it to load as the actual game lasts. Like no wonder progression in this game is as slow as shit coming out a sloths anus.

Conclusion

I honestly dont know how they fucked this game up soo badly in terms of the pvp. All they had to do was use the original SM1 game as their template and just add a few new things and voila, it would have been sick. The original SM1 game was soo good because of its campaign and PVE, but the real thing that kept people playing and loving it was the PVP. I cant see this games pvp being something that keeps people around for over a decade after its release like the original one did.
