Glue Up Shower, caulk or thinset drywall corners behind?

My 36x36x72 Streamline glue-up kit suggests greenboard or cement board. I’m going with Certainteee blueboard which apparently has the same water resistance of purple board. I was thinking of using joist tape in the drywall corners, or silicone, or kerdiband- since if there’s any fail in acrylic wall kit it would probably be in the caulked corner seam.

Any recommendations on how to treat treat the drywall corners before the acrylic wall glue up?

One Bosch unit, alternating two zones - why not simultaneous?

Bosch **Handler Unit Model: BVA-60WN1-M18 (5yo) seems to be the appropriate 18SEER per hour 3000 square-foot house. We have a downstairs zone and upstairs zone but it’s really struggling.**
**Is it possible to make improvements by configuring this to run both zones at the same time?**
**Is that even an option with my Honeywell HZ322 damper controller?**
**Of course we have two separate thermostats, but they are not the smart kind.**
**They got over 90° today in South Carolina. Downstairs temperature is 76° but the coolest 71. Upstairs temperature is 80° but the cool is set to 70°.**
**Condenser coils have been cleaned every year and the condensate drain vacuumed.**

**There’s only a little bit of pooling in the safety pan in my spray foam sealed section of the attic.**

Wood veneer on surface mounted electrical switch box

I have some 1/8 high density fiber board that I could use as a veneer around this plastic surface mounted electrical box but I’m concerned the mitered corners will wear out easily.
What would you use for this? High-quality birch 1/4 plywood? Laminate veneer (not sure those corners would hold up well.).

There’s not a lot of options for three gang surface mounted box that looks nice- except for a $125 one at B&H (home theater aesthetics).

Found a bird claw roadside, let it set in corn meal, anything else I can do to prevent rot ?
My wife thinks I’m crazy but I think it is a fascinating piece of nature that will make a great Christmas ornament.
Jk on the ornament but surely I can do something with it?
I put a cork cuz the claw is sharp and wanted to keep it open.

Clearly, I’ve never done text taxidermy, and this may not even even count as such, but figured I’d ask to see if you tolerate my question!
