Sorry for taking so long to post this one, chores got in the way, but also I never drew or animated hands in the sprite style before, so I had to learn from the scratch just for this little gif lol. Honestly this little project is a pretty good way for me to learn animating sprites.
These designs were deliberately made to resemble some actual characters from homestuck (cause they're LARPING as them lol) they should be easy to guess for the most part. Also another fun fact, the color of their eyes sorta corresponds to their aspect and I wonder if y'all can guess all of them correctly :p
So I've heard many times, that princes tend to act the opposite of their aspect, and to me it's pretty easy to imagine that with almost all aspects except, time and space. I just can't fully wrap my head around it for some reason, so I really would like to hear what ideas you people have :D
The design itself was floating around my head for like a whole year, but the rest of the concept was though up literally like a hour ago, that why the art is so bad lol. I joined st thought that if trolls are based on internet trolls, and there was also fan species based on reddit mods I think, what other toxic part of our internet could I base a fan species around? I decided to go with larpers, posers and internet liers in general plus a hefty dose of cringe culture. I also decided to give them signs like with trolls, but instead they use planetary signs and each sign corresponds to a class instead of aspect. The placement of classes it's final though, and I honestly would like some input on them.
Some info is outdated or incomplete now, gotta make a remake tbh. Also just noticed that two of them have the same strife specibus :p I probably forgot to make a unique one for either Iann or Dean but honestly them both swinging metal pipes around is funny, so I'll keep it that way.
So I finally gone around to redesigning my first madcom oc from 2020, and when I went to label the file with his name, I realized that he doesn't really have one. In some old drawings he's named Steph while in others he's Troy, and I honestly can't decide between the two... So yeah I'll let random strangers decide for me instead :p
I see everyone complaining that they changed a turtle/snail/lizard into a fox/ferret, but literally if you just look at the original design for more than 5 seconds you'll see that it literally has a ferret face! This got me thinking if any of you people, who complain about the changes to the various creatures, actually even touched them before? Or do you just complain for the sake of it?
He's kinda just a normal agent but without one eye lol. Maybe I need to make him stand out more, or maybe him being so ordinary is a good thing? Idk... Btw which version y'all like more? With or without hair? I honestly can't really decide lol

This one is a remake of my older work actually (original is from 2021 I believe), I'm honestly really proud how it turned out and how much my skill progressed despite me having a horrible artblock since 2022.
Think about it, they would be uncanny valley nightmare fuel for the normal grunts! Imagine meeting a guy, whose face is just inexplicably rotated 45°... They could be like some Eldritch creatures trying to mimic normal people to blend in, but not quite getting everything right. Here's my art on the concept, that I quickly made after getting the idea.
