Making a "wrong" outfit a little better

Making a "wrong" outfit a little better

First is buttoned, second is unbuttoned

I'm drawn to classic lines, but they tend to look a little boring on me. I've found that making little accomodations can help an outfit feel a little more harmonious, even if it's not perfect.

I am breaking rules still (cutting my vertical line in a few different places) but knowing my lines helps me to break rules and then balance them out in other places, such as opening a neckline.

This isn't my best outfit by any means, but Kibbe isn't law, it's just guidelines.

Yes I know my pants need to be ironed

SD vs D lines. Thoughts? 5'10"

i put together the most SD and the most D outfits i could with what i had. I've always intuitively borrowed lines from both, but what are your guys' thoughts?

most of the friends i've made in my life have been _N_P or _NF_ but i also find myself drawn to ISTJ's over and over. i am rarely emotionally close with them, but i have two grandparents and a brother with this type, and i've always found they have a sort of charm to them that draws people in. i think i like their carefulness, meticulousness, and calm groundedness. they are unperformative, like what you see is what you get, so i don't really have to guess about them. what a lovely type

my fiance (23M) choked on food in a restaurant yesterday, and my brother had to perform the Heimlich on him. the episode lasted maybe 30 seconds and he is okay now. he has mentioned before that food sometimes gets caught in his throat and he needs to drink extra water at meals, but now it seems a lot more concerning.

he does have problems with acid reflux and heartburn - bad enough that he takes tums every night. i read that GERD can be related to dysphagia.

for those of you here with GERD, tell me about your experience? and how you went about going to a doctor and how that gets addressed? he does not have health insurance :(
