I picked up an order from The Bread and Butter thing today which I thoroughly recommend but on the way out one of the volunteers offered me an extra free bag which turned out to have 6 packs of ripe bananas in it.
My go to is normally banana bread when I have the odd one. I can freeze some but what else can I make?
Desperate for some advice here.
My daughter is learning to drive and is due to take her test in my car which she has been practicing in, in 10 days. Unfortunately the car was stolen from our drive 3 days ago and is currently with the insurance company being assessed.
My main priority is getting a car for her to do her test in. Obviously a hire car is an option but I assume we would not be able to get test insurance on a hire car? My BIL has kindly offered his car which is in the garage for some work, if it’s fixed in time this is our best option but will be ok to short term unsure his car for me and her for the test when we technically still have a live policy on the stolen car? Any ideas of how much we’re looking at paying would be helpful too!

UK peeps will understand the vibe if I tell you it’s a typical social club room with a dj and buffet.
There will be maybe 100-120 people and I’m thinking of getting some buffet warmers and doing a few hot foods - bolognese, Chilli, pulled pork, chicken curry. Sides of potato wedges, tortilla chips, rice, baked potatoes etc
Question is how exactly do I calculate how much to make so the food doesn’t run out?
Made just now for my teen and her boyfriend because what exactly do you make for visiting kids? She took one look said she didn’t like burgers and is now making them both Buldak. Is it that bad?

Some of you are taking this very seriously which has made me giggle. My daughter and her boyfriend are both autistic and she only eats about 3 things. I still make other things firstly because I live in hope she will eat other things but also because her bf should be offered decent food.
I just checked the kitchen and they have eaten the chicken burgers and covered the rest up and put the sides in the fridge so I’m happy.
