Maybe I’m just too early but I feel like by this time in previous years I’d have started receiving emails from professors about the class, syllabus, pre-readings etc? 5 classes and nothing.

Finishing my internship, have a few nice pieces and several pairs of Rothy’s to sell for cheap. DM if interested! I’m Size M 6/8 5’8” and size 9 shoe.

After signing up for a trip, I was contacted by the program organizer and told there were a few spots left, and to pay immediately (trip fee/discounted flight) in order to secure my spot. Had my interview and was told that despite being marked down I hadn’t been sent an offer email. Contacted Birthright and they said they’d request a seat for me and that they’d hope to hear back within the next week. It’s been a week and I have heard nothing. Annoyed that I was told paying would secure my spot and annoyed that there seems to be no real timeline here for a July 6 trip which I’d hoped to extend. This is affecting my other summer plans and I don’t know what to do. Canceling at this point means I won’t get a refund so I’d have to wait for them to not be able to secure a seat before getting my money back. How long should I wait? This is extremely frustrating.

This is my second time around on Hinge, still pretty trash for the most part (22F). I get about 10 likes a day, but men are so weird? Top 3 weird experiences on hinge in DC: 33 year old dude literally unmatched me for asking about his ethnicity (he was gorgeous and I was genuinely curious). A 38 year old ghosted me an hour before he said he’d pick me up. And a 36 year old told me he got his hookup before me preggy when he’s already a single dad but was back on the site 2 months later.

I’m on tinder and feeld. Those are exponentially better, sitting on thousands of likes and have met sweet ppl. But the pattern continues, poor communication, child-like behavior, odd personalities.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I’ve had locs for 14 years now, never had a retwist but my locs themselves are pretty uniform. I’m at a point where I’m looking for options to comb my hair out (DM if you have recommendations in DC or Maryland), but I’m also looking to make my hair look more presentable in the meantime. For the past year my new hair growth has been totally out of control. I neaten things up by braiding a couple times a week or edge control with a headband. I’m considering a retwist or interlocking. Leaning towards interlocking but wondering if the process would make combing my hair out later more difficult?
