- Flying in from DUB on 7/18.
- In flight our connection to FLL was cancelled.
- Rebooked onto flight to PBI/DJT.
- That flight was delayed due to mechanical issues.
- 3 hours into delay, announced plane taken out of service.
- New plane/gate change, board at 6:45.
- Can’t move, nobody taking off, pilot informs us.
- Pilot informs us crew times out. But can’t return to gate because runway is gridlock.
- On tarmac until 11:30PM.
- JetBlue sends me 12$ food voucher, enabling me to survive negative minutes in New York.
- JetBlue question desk employees disappear a little after 12:30AM and do not return.
- Stay in hotel.
- Call JetBlue and schedule callback - it never comes.
- Simultaneously have travel partner on hold.
- Receive email my flight cannot be rebooked.
- Find JetBlue to Vero beach on 7/20. Switch to that via the explore options for cancellations.
- stay w friends
- Flight to Vero is cancelled at 3:30AM this morning
- JetBlue wants to reschedule me for a flight in two days.
