How th do you adjust the 90° on the ksc60?
Digital angle gauge is reading a 89.5 when the bevel is at 0.
I can’t find anything in the manual or online about how to fine tune it.

Unboxing the miter saw and I pick it up by the handle and set it on a table… now I’m noticing there’s a rear handle, which would have helped me lift.
I’ve been sitting here obsessing over wether or not I may have tweaked the rails by picking it up like this, one handed and am genuinely frustrated that I A) wasn’t more diligent, and B) that I’m even thinking about this because it feels insane.
I guess I’m just looking for a “yea return it”, or “that wouldn’t bend the rails”.
These tools are expensive and I don’t what’s a valid no-no or just my own idiosyncrasies.
Bought the track saw rail kit - with the two rails, bag, etc.
considering how expensive these tools are it definitely feels like I’m committing some type of sin stacking them on top of each other in this bag.
Trying to put two 2x4s together and I was using 3 1/8” GRK but they keep blowing out the other side unless I angled them quite a bit. So I switched to 2 1/2”, sinking them about 1/8” into the wood which has been working… although I feel like I need a 3” screw because of the longer unthreaded shaft.
Is there a better option? I’m only familiar with GRKs and they don’t make just a 3”.
I attached this pre insulated boot to blocking and raised it up about 3/16 because I was afraid the way it was attached was going to cause a hump in the drywall. I haven’t sealed it yet but you can see there’s a gap between the flange and the backside of the drywall. The flange is like 2” wide and I’m afraid even with it sealed and insulation that small void might condense. I can undo the blocking and have it rest on the drywall. Sealing it may be enough but I’m just trying to get some opinions.
I ordered the tsc55 k track saw from wood craft back in early April and it’s still not in. They are now projecting it to be sometime in July, but they also told me originally it would only be a few weeks.
I need something light weight to cut framing. I’m generally terrible with the larger circular saws but I really liked the feel of both of these. I’m ambidextrous so the blade size isn’t really an issue. The m12 is about 2lbs less though. I’m torn.
Drywall going in next week and I’m a little concerned this is going to result in a hump. I could slide it over on the blocking and reinstall the blocking 1/4” higher.
With the blade down and locked I set the angle to 90. With the saw up it’s off 1-2°. If I calibrate it when it’s up it’s off when it’s down.
If I’m cutting tall trim it seems like this might be a problem.
Is this just the way it is?
Non sliding dewalt dws716. With the blade down and locked I can adjust the bevel to 90°. Just for the hell of it I decided to check it with the saw up and the angle was off about 1-2°. I recalibrated it with the blade up and when I locked it down, again the angle was off 1-2°
I don’t know if this is typical; if I’m expecting too much. Should I just set it to 90 when down and that be it?
The back knob is completely loose, tilting to 45 is decent but going back to 0 it’s very stiff. I pretty much need to adjust the angle using the carrying handle so I can get the proper leverage. The demo at Home Depot is super slick and easy. I don’t know if this is because it’s new or if this is an actual issue.
I was able to set this at 90 but when I tightened the bevel the measurement was off so I started looking around and noticed this whole section of the saw moves. I know it needs to be able to move when loose I’ve just never seen a saw move like this simple by tightening the bevel.
Just curious of others experiences.
I ordered this packout insert and kind of regret not just trying to do it myself.
It’s like 90% great. Everything fits tight and the cuts are clean, but the battery layout just doesn’t really work. They sit a bit too tall and rub on the lid and the belt clip on the impact, at least for me, prevents the battery from seating properly. Honestly if they just shifted things around a bit it probably could have worked.
Anyone know when the new miter saw is supposed to come out?
They all have an “incline function” which is really not a function it’s just the laser out of level so it flashes several times every 5 seconds. This seems like a big oversight to me or maybe I’m just stupid. It just seems odd that the cheaper options have self leveling but also allow you to lock the laser so you can tilt it and it stay solid. if you want a higher end option that’s rechargeable or has more features it ends up being less versatile.
It just seems like this would be standard.
It’s the laser measure. I’m seeing a lot of mixed reviews. My brother just got a mileseey and really likes it but I’ve always had an affinity for Bosch for this sort of thing, but the reviews have me second guessing.
