Dual Algerian citizens: Have any of you visited Jerusalem using your second passport? Did it cause any issues with Algeria?

Salam! I’m a dual citizen and would like to visit Al-Aqsa and support the Palestinian economy in Bethlehem and the WestBank.

Has anyone here visited Jerusalem using their non-Algerian passport? If so, did it cause you any issues with Algeria afterward (entering the country, renewing your passport, etc.)?

I’m looking for personal experiences. Thanks you!

I witnessed a woman get assaulted. Shocked that no one intervened

(I just posted this with a video but it was brought to my attention that it wasn’t appropriate. I am so sorry i haven’t thought about it like that. Glad it didn’t get much views)

I was in my car with my babies, waiting for my husband to get off work, when I saw a man approach a woman who was clearly unconscious or unable to move because she was on some substance. He put on a glove and started digging in her pants. From where I was, I could tell she wasn’t able to move. That’s when took my phone so I could zoom in and see better since I can’t see well from far away. I also took by the same occasion a video for the police.

I wanted to do something, but my babies were alone in the car and I couldn’t leave them alone to go confront a man twice my size. I hunked and hunked my car then got scared he’d come to me. Thankfully the police came in less than 2 minutes and he was dealt with.

the 4–5 minutes this lasted, so many people walked by, noticed what the guy was doing, looked at him strangely, and then just kept walking or avoided them. We are sooo doomed if this type of crap happens in day light with people walking around and not one grown man says a word to him…

Died a Hero protecting civilians. I was in the mall next to the shooting and it was really scary. Grateful but also devastated for his family. All my condolences to the Benredouane Family.

Not a gardener but an admirer

I have never planted anything. I have also never had the chance to live in a house with a garden (yet 🤞🏻) I don’t even have a house plant as I travel too often for too long to keep one alive. But i love and admire everyone in this sub so much! This sub is such a wholesome corner of the internet. I love it! Your knowledge and dedication is so inspiring I am dreaming about joining this space with my own pictures one day! Some of you are so knowledgeable it’s amazing! When, not if, I will try for my own green babies, i will need some well needed guidance from you guys as i know absolutely nothing yet. I just needed to share my admiration after my daily scroll in here. Much love xx

Anyone has experience with car rentals in Algiers?

I am visiting Algeria for the month of October and i would like to rent a car from the airport ideally or a reputable place. I will need a reliable car to drive around in multiple cities. Has anyone here tried to rent a car in advance from another country? Do you have a good experience car airport rentals or any other company suggestions? Thank you

Moving back to Algeria after years abroad. I need advice to keep the lifestyle i am used to

Salam! I have to move back to Algeria for a while after living abroad almost my whole life. I love the country and feel ready to adapt to it’s perks and challenges. But there is one thing i am utterly confused about and it’s how people usually handle certain things in daily life. ( i will be living between Annaba and Algiers)

Due to health sensitivities i like to be careful with the quality of food i consume and products i use. Are there options for organic / OGM free / pesticides free food? Is it usual to find local farmers who sell non transformed primary ingredients (raw milk, raw honey, virgin olive oil, real cheese…)

I am also into growing my own food and canning it. But what about Mason jars for vacuum-sealed or pressure-canned storage 🫙 ? And what about seeds? Are specialized gardening products common? Should i bring organic seeds with me?

How about healthy cosmetics? Sulfate free shampoos and non-comedogenic skincare for example?

And what about the water? I know most people drink from bottled water but what about those who want to avoid microplastics? I am interested in getting my water straight from a source even though it’s a bit of a hassle. Have any of you seen glass or stainless steel water jugs? If i don’t want to store drinking water in plastic buckets for example.

Please explain to me like i am 5 i have no idea how things are usually done 😭 so i would be very grateful for any guidance.

Thank you kind people
