So I have two female cats (4 and 6) and would like to have a 3rd. Both of mine were acquired via cat distribution system and I raised them both from kitten-fancy so I'm confident I can do it again (have a big house and funds to spay/neuter/feed etc). I'm considering adopting from a shelter but I'm unfamiliar and nervous bc I've heard stories about them being extremely difficult to work with. I understand they have rules about adopting single kittens for social development but would they count my older cats as enough companionship? Should I just wait for the CDS to bless me again? Kind torn. Tia.

(10-12k) did my own makeup!

I didn't think I'd actually be able to pull it off but I went for it and with some practice I was able to do my own makeup! It went on at 12pm and didn't come off til 10pm. We had a late march outdoor wedding and cool weather helped but I was SWEATING in that dress lol. I did encounter some flashback due to my setting powder (loreal infallible) but no regrets otherwise!! If you want to do your own makeup, go for it!! I didn't bother going for a quote bc I knew I wouldn't be able to justify $$$ on something I could probably do myself. I spent maybe $60 on products (and now I can do my makeup any time I want). My goal was me but just a little better (no heavy glam) and I'm really glad I did.

Our event was about 60 guests and around 12k.

I posted in here before with another dress I loved so much and thought was the one but unfortunately she was out of budget (2k) and I just couldn't squeeze it. This one however turned out to be absolutely perfect. I thrifted her for a fraction of the price (250) and with some minor alterations (500) that were graciously paid for by MIL (shortened the train and added a corset back) she became THE dress!!
