Jerking aside for a sec, are we led to believe that 80's Miami was such a lawless, hectic place that Tony can kill Frank and Mel and not even worry about cleaning up? I mean shooting a wacked out indian in the middle of the street in broad daylight is one thing, but a legitimate businessman and cop? You're telling me you never pondered that? I know, I know, its a movie, a progrum.
And will he bring a broom? The piano and drink is funny, but i feel like a broom is an integral part of this expression, and that it should make some type of appearance.
Interested in hearing from servers at a casual sit down restaurant, Outback, Texas Roadhouse, Chilis, etc. Would you do the job if it was hourly non-tipped? Same wage as BOH. Why or why not? Is it safe to assume most customers are low-maintenance and not very fussy?

At a regular sit down restaurant, like $20-40 type places, what is "excellent service". Personally, i have never expected more than what i suppose is the bare minimum. Order taken, drinks brought, food brought, drinks refilled, check brought. This being the standard (in my mind at least), why not just charge a flat rate per patron at the table? Or better yet, roll it into the price of the food.
Edit: I guess my point is, for a run of the mill place, wouldnt it be better if servers got paid maybe a bit more than BOH hourly, without expectation of additional tip? If this mythical excellent service is provided, then a tip is given. If everything is baseline, like it is for BOH, then just baseline it all.
