Any Experience with "Happy Caapi" extract?

Since sourcing is ok on this sub I wanted to see if anyone had experience with this vendor? They are offering a caapi extract that they seem to be marketing for daily use. Details:

"Happy Caapi is a full-vine aqueous-ethanolic extract of Banisteriopsis caapi, single-origin, third-party tested every batch. DMT: not detected. Concentrate 20:1 (w/w). Non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan. Free of fillers, preservatives, and unnecessary anything.

Active compounds: harmine, harmaline, tetrahydroharmine, and a supporting fraction of minor β-carbolines. Standardized within a batch; the plant varies slightly within a living-ingredient range, which is the point.

Ingredients: Banisteriopsis caapi vine extract, distilled water, food-grade ethanol (≤ 20%), vegetable glycerin."

I am interested in this product for two reasons:

- I tried chewing syrian rue seeds and found it to be quite unpleasant
- I'm also interested in including THH for vaporhuasca purposes since I'm told it can enhance color (rue doesn't have much THH apparently)

If you know of another source of b. caapi extract that you have experience with please lmk!

Vaporhuasca - Harmine HCL vs Harmaline HCL vs THH HCL ?

For someone interested in vaporhuasca, which of these three is recommended and what are the differences? I consulted AI and the recommendation was Harmine HCL due to it being cleaner and less sedating.

Your favorite compound for music appreciation?

I am a guitar player and a lover of all music. I’m always on the hunt for ways to improve my relationship with music, my guitar practice, etc.

I heard a story once that some of the super power of guitarists like Eddie Van Halen and Stevie Ray Vaughan came from long nights practicing under the influence of stimulants and psychedelics.

If you’ve had a cool psychedelic experience with a lesser known compound that involves playing or listening to music I’d love to know about it. For me the top I have experienced is 2CB

Bluegrass style pick recommendations?

I like guitar picks and I can kind of scratch the shopping / guitar buying itch with something that’s not too expensive.. maybe you can relate 😁.

I’m a bluegrass style player and I like large triangles and the blue chip TAD 50 is my number 1 right now. For rhythm I like a slightly thinner Wegen (around 1.0).

For anyone that uses these do you have others you like? TIA and happy pickin

Can a one time PLUR experience cause depression?

I've heard about the 3 month rule which makes sense but what I'd like to avoid is the sensation of feeling depressed immediately after like I used to on xtc (what we called it back in the early 2000s)

As I understand about 95% of serotonin is produced by enterochromaffin cells in the lining of the gastrointestinal tract so I'm not sure how MDMA or 5Map causes a disproportionate dump of this in a short period or how it makes it difficult for it to be regenerated but feels like an interesting discussion.

Would appreciate any thoughts from those more experienced and also your anecdotal reports.

NGD: 1974 Yairi YW 500P

True, some might call this a knock off martin with laminated rosewood back and sides.

But for someone new to vintage acoustics and looking for an easier entry than spending $6-8k minimum for a nice D-18 / 28 this thing hits the spot for me.

The tone and sustain are bonkers compared to my Eastman (no shade the Eastman is also a great guitar).

Yairi was legendary for his attention to detail and he stored tone woods for decades so the top on this guitar could easily be 70+ years old.

Super stoked on this thing. It’s beautiful, well loved, easy to play and it just rings like a bell. Thanks for looking

How much of your Goose enjoyment comes exclusively from Rick’s lead guitar & virtuosity?

Be honest. Obviously we love the whole band but this is strictly how much of your personal enjoyment is driven by Rick’s leads and guitar playing alone (singing not included).
