20F, took two drops for neet. this year i got 547, exam got cancelled, now ill sit for neet again but dont have much hopes from it. i am saturated and burnt out. have been researching career options besdies mbbs for the first time from this april, and everything feels like a dead end. but whatever. the point is that i would rather have an uncertain future than sit for neet 2027 again. yes, i know the chances of it biting me in the ass is very high. vinash kaale vipreet buddhi, as my mother says to me.

my parents want me to enroll in a local open clg for bsc and study for neet once more. in my prep years, i was always kinda ahead of the kids in my batch and got put in topper batches too. ive had tution teachers and theyve always said i could do better tha i deserve a govt seat. last year I started studying for neet in nov 2025 due to health complications, so my parents feel like i can still do better and all.

my passion and interest is completely dead. i cannot for the life of me care for neet, mbbs, bio, whatever tf, i just need some way to make money. if i am being very honest , i cannot give a f about anything besides making money. i did a lot of research and thought i would do bsc in some bio subject this year from a good ug clg and try for mba. now the problem is cat. all my school life i had been terrified of maths and bad at it. frankly the only reason i took pcb was because i hated maths, that was the primary reason. if i prepare for cat im essentially going to fight what i desperately wanted to escape from. i dont doubt my leadership skills, im good at communication, but yeah.

my family has been through mba though, and they think i am not cut out for it at all. my only strength is my memorization, and with that too i couldn't do well in neet, so how will i go through something lika mba, which tests things i am not naturally good at?

then i see people after even their damn msc in bio subjects thinking of giving neet again and be clueless beyond belief on what to do and it just leaves me baffled because is this it? what am i even doing here then, brainstorming options?

im honestly confused beyond belief and have no idea what to do. i am fighting my parents every day because they want me to take a partial drop and do neet and mbbs and im saying i want to do bsc then mba or if not that then bdc then msc bioinformatics. holy hell dude mujhe bas paisa kamana hai gand maraye aur sab kuch💀💀🙏🙏🙏idfk anymore im sorry if i sound frustrated its because i am hehe. more so at myself because why tf am i so slow and dumb and why dont i know maths and computers and have no special qualities at all omg🤙🤩

hey so i am aiming to join bhu and i wanted to know, is it realistic wanting to maintain a 9+ cgpa there? like in some colleges the grading or whatever is so strict that students, even the ones who worked hard end up max like 8 or below. so whats the scene here?

also i really want the chem bot and industrial microbio (BCI) combination. my subjects are eng and pcb. is english considered or is it just domain? what score should i have to get into bhu in the first place, and esp for this combination? if anyone is a part of it, or knows about it, id love to get to know more details:)

also i really want fmc and not mmv. anything i should keep in mind for that?

10th cbse- 94.6%

12th cbse- 92.6% (pcb)

planning to do bsc in some bio subject (biotech/microbio/etc).

will also be learning coding (python, R, sql) from 1st year itself, because if cat doesn't work out my backup option is msc bioinformatics.

i have not done anything noteworthy in my school days, so i will try to join a club or society in ug too.

i would really appreciate it if someone could guide me on how to approach cat. when i should start, or even what i should do in my bsc years to amp myself up and give it a good shot. i have no idea how this whole process works, i just know theres quant, varc and dilr.

i do think im bringing a lot onto myself, with trying to maintain a 9+ cgpa, learning coding, trying for a society, and also cat prep, but ill prioritise when i get there. no option but to try.
