New Vehicle Insurance Verification (NC)

New Vehicle Insurance Verification (NC)

I recently purchased a new vehicle in NC

Showed the dealer my existing policy with Progressive and they said I had a 30 day grace period to add the new vehicle to my existing policy. Progressive's website says the same thing: https://www.progressive.com/answers/adding-a-car-to-insurance-policy/

I added the vehicle to my policy ~20 days after purchase.

I got a letter from NC DMV that I need to send the insurance verification form (FS-1) to them. Progressive is refusing to date the FS-1 form to the date of purchase, only the date that the vehicle was added to the policy.

NC DMV is threatening a plate revocation & penalty for lapse of coverage. Why would Progressive's website say I have a 30 day grace period to add the vehicle but refuse to show that I had coverage?? I've spent hours on the phone with Progressive, DMV, and my dealer but seems Progressive is being the problem here. They saying I needed to add the vehicle before I even drove off the lot even though I provided the dealer with proof of insurance for my other vehicles.

Error (313012) Estimated Order Value exceeds your Cash Available to Trade

Sold a security and I show a balance in "Cash Available to Trade" but not in "Settled". When I try to invest in a new security with an amount less than shown in "Cash Available to Trade" I get this error message. What gives?

Doyle or Pittsburgh hand riveter

I've had the cheap one handed riveters and keep breaking them. Ready for one a bit nicer and has a lifetime warranty.

These look very similar. $20 vs $25. Both lifetime warranty. Similar size. Why do they even have two? What one should I buy?

Noticed a light oil seep coming out both sides of a 2013 Corolla engine owned by a family member.

Where could this be coming from? head gasket or valve covers? anything I should look closer into?

thanks

I have a 1800running 2200starting Westinghouse generator. I plan to power lights with it for bowfishing that will have a continuous load of 1800watts and a slight peak at start up.

Is running this little generator at peak running specs for 4-5 hours going to lead to premature failure? Or am I ok as long as I don’t exceed 1800watts
