I’m brand new to iRacing—I only played ACC before this. I’ve just graduated from the Rookie class. Now iam in the Class D.
What would you recommend for the next step?
The Toyota GR86? Or the Ferrari 296 Challenge?
I want to stick with GT3s later on.

Do you have any recommendations? Including for Class C and B later down the line?

I recently switched to iRacing. Before that, I played ACC exclusively.
What is the main reason you chose iRacing?
You see so many people switching from ACC to iRacing.

For me, it’s time to give it a try.

Are there any of you who did the opposite and moved away from iRacing?

I’ve been into sim racing—using a steering wheel and so on—for a relatively short time. I have a basic Logitech setup.

My Safety Rating is currently just over 70. I’ll soon be able to join the competitive servers. Since I’m pretty new to this, I’d be interested to know which cars you’d generally recommend. Right now, I mostly drive the Ferrari 296 GT3.

What would you recommend for a newcomer? I get along quite well with the Ferrari. I’ve got just under 22 hours of playtime in ACC so far—😂 not a huge amount, but I think I’m handling it pretty well.

How do competitive servers differ from the usual ones? I seem to recall reading that you have to commit to a specific car, which is why I’m asking.

So, I’ve only been using the iPhone for a week now. But could already gain some experience, have often changed back and forth. Had the most different Android phones. Some iPhones, etc.

What I noticed.

- very good sound, the speakers are really very good

- the general experience is very good

- operating speed is very good. Everything runs very smoothly

- Apple car play runs very well. Stable and does what it should

- iOS 26 with the liquid glass is really good, now without bugs. The animations are really good

- the love of detail with the icons. Everything fits together perfectly

- Bluetooth devices run without problem. I connected my old Pixel Buds to the Iohone. No problem. Such a thing used to be unthinkable in the past

- Siri is okay so far I’m curious about iOS 27, but Google Gemini it’s a another level

- The camera is solid and good, but no comparison to my previous phone, the Xiaomi 15 ultra. I honestly don’t understand why Apple always hesitates for so long and doesn’t try to integrate a 1“ sensor

- The handling is very pleasant despite the fact that it is quite heavy on paper, the weight distribution is very good. I don’t find it difficult at all.

- The video mode is really very good

- I think it’s good that Apple doesn’t include one so extremely anymore. You can even simply delete many Apple apps and are no longer tied to all the Apple apps

- The battery is just perfekt

- The fast updates by apple

All in all, a very good all-rounder with a good camera, which still has room to go up. A class performance and the battery is simply absolutely good.

I'm considering switching to the iPhone 17 Pro; I had actually only been focusing on the 17 Pro Max before.

Can someone from experience tell me how it is What about the battery life? Is it a huge difference compared to the Pro Max?

Does anyone here use Google Photos? I'm asking because I had Google Photos on my iPhone 12 Pro and the app felt very sluggish, almost as if it would freeze during use.

Hello everyone, I wanted to ask for your objective opinion. I've been using the Xiaomi 15 Ultra for a year now and am generally very satisfied, but I often change smartphones more frequently simply out of interest in the technology. I'm just wondering if it makes sense to switch from the Xiaomi 15 Ultra to the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Does anyone have direct experience with this camera? It seems like everyone on YouTube has a slightly different one.I'm aware that Xiaomi has better lenses, etc. But is there a huge difference? I used to have the 12 Pro Max and I'm familiar with iOS. What do you think?
