i’m friends with someone who’s schizophrenic (i have OCD) i was wondering if anyone else had experience with this. his delusions really mess with me, but we are friends. especially this specific one he has where he believes we are all stuck here by this supreme being. it makes it ten times worse that he does psilocybin frequently
this is so exhausting because i’m basically used to the spirals now. one tiny thing in a conversation can set me off, and instead of just letting it pass, I end up ruminating, checking, over-explaining, or doing some compulsion that completely butchers the conversation. add adhd and i’m incapable of pausing before i react. i love being self aware and still repeating self destructive patterns
