for context, bought a evofox one s for about 1600 off amazon, immediately i loved it because im one for heavier controllers, the rubberised grips are acutally nice, the d pad is made of mushy membrane materials, but for navigating menus on games, not bad, yes the thumb sticks might be bad and the l1 and r1 wobble around, but the vibration is really really strong and the battery gets me about 7 hours on medium vibration settings

ive seen posts saying 10k is just decent, i thought of getting 7k and blowing 1k on the xbox gamepass everymonth, im not very social and i might go out to delhi like once a month tops, so if you wouldnt mind, can current students explain how much money do yall get in a month and where does it go towards

round 4 applicant, started freaking out when i saw that many people got their interview mails, ill make sure to update yall if theres anything new

round 4, its been 7 days since my aaa, havent gotten my interview mail, am i rejected or sumn or do they take time to roll out as many people have gotten theirs

from what ive read online, the interview intimation mails roll out in a chronological order, basically first apply, first emails sent out

ive been struggling a lot thinking about death recently, was searching for games that are unorthodox and i read a post that said just play stanley parable, dont ask questions, this is like so what i wanted, it did not exactly keep me away from being scared of death, but it made me realise how complex life was, thank you stanley parable team, and fu*k the narrator, who does he think he is

for context, i scored 92.8 in 10th icse, 81.7 in 11th and 86.17 in 12th boards (state board), 79.09 percentile in jee mains, and thats everything ive put under the academics related part and i mentioned me writing silverzone olympiads and participating in spell bees, winning writing comptetions at school at my school under the scholastic journey essay.

for the personal essay, its super corny, i mentioned how my dad working with computers made me interested in computers and as i grew up it just interested me more and even with all that i didnt mention a single project of how i built a pc, (i only can code in java and python, only good enough to get centums in 10th and 12th grade in cs and didnt mention it anywhere), and that pushed me to pursue computer science and and praised ashoka for not being a traditional college and let everyone pursue their own mixed path in terms of acads.

and my for my eca's, i put in photography, personal level as i just click photos and am not confident enough to post them online on forums and social media, attached a pdf 3 pages long with about 30 photos which im genuinely proud of, now this is where it goes downhill.

under my second eca i put in consumer media as the title, where i genuinely glorified watching movies, reading books and playing video games like assassins creed and far cry titles, and at the end put in how i write sci fi and have won an award for a movie i wrote and shot at a comptetition which won an award amongst all the branches of my high school in 12th grade at the very end of the paragraph.

for my third eca, i put in music, and once again just glorified the fact i listen to hard rock, alternative and hip hop, and said how i played guitar and keyboard, and participated in a battle of bands within my school.

im genuinely scared about my application form being genuinely bad, because the way ive put it, everything seems corny, do you guys think my application form is decent and wont be grounds for disqualification??

PS: the photos I've uploaded for the photography eca are ones that ive been praised for by everyone whos seen them, so i dont think i need to worry about the photography section.

recently ive thought a lot about death, not killing myself, but death. the fact that it is highly improbable to have afterlife, means the highest probability is there is nothing after death, and in the movies ive seen recently, any character committing suicide knows this and still choose it, i mean yeah that is the end, and you know nothing, you are nothing after death and after a long time, all kinds of life ceases to exist, and that is it, wait for another big bang and new kinds of life emerges, not knowing me, nor you, and the scene where brooks dies, made me extremely extremely sad, i was just 15 i think when i first watched the movie, i was just happy andy and red made it out alive but now 4 years later, the end with andy and red reuniting just made me think, death is inevitable, then shouldnt everyone live in fear and end themselves, but no, that is the best part, you live like there is no other, and i cried, cried for no reason, cried for those before me, those will come after, for me, for being extremely lucky to be in this moment, and to live on forward, carry on wayward son

I come from a very controlling and orthodox family and this is my only shot at leaving this place and since i dont want the guilt of them paying for me when im away to haunt me but yeah theyr open to the idea too but im not totally cutting ties with them because i get their bringing up and how theyr not built to handle ideas but yeah they will be sending me money monthly and is taking a loan really that bad on your future if you arent taking up the best courses like cse or ece at the rate im studying ill prolly clear msc physics and yeah thats not the best of them is it but i want bits hyderabad so that i can hopefully start studying and get a high cgpa to get cse in the second year or be eligible for a vertical transfer
