Not good with flavor profiles, but it tastes like sweet spinach or something. Generally good, but expensive as a latte :< haha. Will try as usucha soon!

What is the best Kagoshima and/or Saemidori Matcha?
Friend from abroad (EU) asking pasabuy for matcha purchasable from shopee or manila. The one flying from here will be in a few weeks time, so sana nabibili lng here or shopee from Japan. One of the wishlist is matcha specially from Kagoshima and/or Saemidori grown there. Looking at:

Nuisance Calls for Bank Offers
Shouldn’t there be existing Philippine laws that cover and punish abusive bank companies spamming calls over loan offers, balance transfers, and credit-to-cash? I’ve been owning credit cards the past decade but recently, I receive a surge of calls multiple times a day 2-4x, and sadly, my work involves sleeping very late and I had to turn on calls in case they need to contact me.
But it turns out, bank calls affect my sleep more than half of the time, and even though after declining these offers and asking to remove me from these “call list”, they keep calling again, maybe another 2-3x in the same week. They also use different phone numbers each time, so blocking each number isn’t effective at all. I’ve been losing sleep and this had been affecting my health.
Nothing seem to budge. How do I avoid them? Where to file a complaint against these banks? I do own a few of them, defo more than one.
Lastly, why don’t they just aggressively use text? They can spam all they want and use catchy wordings. People will avail loans whenever they only need them and if they see loads of $$$ amount via text offers. Calls are so stupid and highly invasive, disruptive, and abusive.

The Odyssey Cinema Ratio at A-Giant (Trinoma or Glorietta)?
With full IMAX seats everywhere for Odyssey, been considering A-Giant for Odyssey. Lurked in discussions here, and assuming Glorietta is in 2:39 format while Trinoma can push both for 1:85 and 2:39—is it really shown in 1:85 at Trinoma, or the latter?
Just a real-world check since I can't see posts or discussions about it via search, only for previous films, and since Odyssey is natively in 1:43, so projections may vary depending on theater decisions. Thank you!

Tailgaters becoming way more frequent
I’m starting to notice more and more tailgating sa AF Estancia around 12-2am. Before wala namang ganito but it’s either magdodoorbell pa sila nang malala tapos kakatok ng malakas para magpabukas pa ang mga g@g0. If not, paglabas mo, papasok talaga sila. Or, may isang member tapos magpapasok ng barkada. Syempre ayoko na ng confrontations. I’ve never experienced this frequent until this past week VS my exp in AF for the past 3 years.

Jasmine Matcha
*Jasmine Matcha from Hanoi, Vietnam (Satoen Group)
What i know, they use jap cultivar then grown in Vietnam. They have the regular/premium powder, then this is the Jasmine variant. Not sure how they put the flavor, but pag-open palang ng pack ang bango! Jasmine tea-matcha combo talaga.
TASTE
8.5/10. Malakas ang flowery jasmine pero hindi rin natatalo ang taste ng matcha. Their regular matcha notes is on the marine/fishy+grassy side, but doesn’t taste cheap. At best, parang entry-level, so in a way it matches the jasmine’s flowery flavor in this variant. Perfectly blended. If sweet tooth ka, ansarap niya lagyan ng sweetener, what I did, is konting vietnamese condensed milk (Ngoi Sao). Ang result is a creamy jasmine matcha.
CON
Fair warning sa maarte: leaning lasang-sabon siya if hindi “broad” ang palate mo, because of its “fragrance” and flowery note. Before, nagkaroon ng Plum matcha ang Starbucks. I was one of them who really liked it, na perfectly blends with soy milk. So if isa ka sa hater noon, you won’t like this. Very flowery.

Matcha Sale? (Shopee Store)
I was browsing late last night (actually around 2am) and I was looking for Byakuren. Then I saw one of the shops selling it for 1,200+ but then, in one of the selections, was Wakatake at 800 pesos. Both were 100g pack. It looked like the layout from Japan Treasure Market. I was so sleepy to checkout and made sure i wasn’t making a “bad decision” that late in the night 🤣 when I checked again this morning, it’s now 1,400 for Byakuren and 1,800 for Wakatake.
Now the question is, could it be another shop? But I was almost sure it looked like the selection screen from Japan Treasure. Do any other shop look like it and do sale/promotions like this really possible in Shopee?
