Non-Park Dad Trying to Buy Skis for Mainly Park Son
My son and I both ski. We live in the midwest and have a small hill that we ski regularly. I only ski runs, but he does a mixture of runs and park. We will also go on one "big mountain" trip each year and take our own skis.
He's in need of a new pair this year and has been focusing on Armada ARV 88's and Line Tom Wallisch's. Both the 2026 model, not the newer models.
Because he does a mixture of runs and park, I am kind of lost. Would love to hear what people think about the combo options I've found on Ski Essentials and Evo (and would love to hear if there are other websites to check out):
Ski Essentials
Line Tom Wallisch Pro w/Tyrolia Attack 14 GW bindings ($529.97)
Armada ARV 88 w/Tyrolia Attack 14 GW bindings ($699.95)
Evo
Line Tom Wallisch Pro w/Atomic Strive 12 GW bindings ($531.17)
Line Tom Wallisch Pro w/Look Pivot 2.0 13 GW bindings ($627.93)
Line Tom Wallisch Pro w/Look SPX 12 GW Pro bindings ($517.46)
Armada ARV 88 w/Armada Strive 14 GW bindings ($679.91)
Armada ARV 88 w/Look SPX 12 GW Pro bindings ($560.45)
Thanks!
