It is stated repeatedly to be equal to rika.. but aside from that, there's one statement that says it can shapeshift. Is there anything else it could do? Should we be allowed to interpret its abilities based on the folklore of tamamo no mae?

Also, I saw this one video where apparently in the jjk 0 stage play, it had a domain expansion?!?!?!? Someone should check on that if they can

I just wanted to make this brief and simple scaling of eos yuji, so here u go. I will primarily focus my scaling based on 257, 264-267 yuji, and sukuna

1stly, let's scale the versions of sukuna that yuji was put up against

264-265 sukuna

In 264, it said that sukuna regained his rct, which we know was by making an rct relay (258). In 258 the narrator said that sukuna's inability to make the rct relay in 257 was due to Yuji's 7 soul punches negating whatever effects sukuna needed.

We know that yuji's soul punches nerf output and lessen sukuna's control of megumi's body. Which means that the creation of an rct relay has to be correlated to either 1 of these effects. Which would pretty objectively be ourput, since we know that the soul harmony between sukuna and megumi cannot be fixed with conventional means, instead it relies on sinking megumi's mental state through alternative means.

This is supported by the fact that sukuna in 265 (after making an rct relay) comments on how yuji's dismantle in 263 breathed new life into megumi. Which u would not expect if 264 sukuna had a better soul harmony then for example 256 sukuna.

Which means output is the most likely component to creating ur rct relay. This would put 264 sukuna over both 4 bf amped 256 sukuna and 237-238 sukuna as well. This is due to the fact that sukuna has the unique ability to replicate anything he's seen perfectly.

After seeing gojo use the rct relay technique, sukuna would have had no reason not to try and replicate it, if he could've done it from the very start of the shinjuku raid.

Additionally healed sukuna would highly likely recieve a rage amp in 265, after becoming extremely furious from yuji pitying him.

And despite this yuji being domain boosted to level the playing field, sukuna himself mentions how this version of yuji hasn't used rct to heal is injuries and is extremely low on ce.

Telling us that yuji is way past his limits. Yet yuji is still going extreme rel to this version of sukuna.

1stly, there is zero indication that soul harmony and output is on a 1:1 scale. Especially considering the fact that sukuna has been shown and said to be able to increase his output via black flashes. Such as in 256

For example In 214-215 after newly taking over megumi's body, he only started to lose output when megumi was actively trying to supress him at all times. This is despite sukuna presumably having very low soul harmony at that time.

Also fyi in 266, there is zero indication that megumi was capable of continuously hindering sukuna after he made that shadow puddle. What's most likely since sukuna makes no mentions of any diminishing ouptut, is that sukuna just immediately supressed megumi again.

So the following chainscale would go something like this

Eos yuji >> 266 yuji ≈ 266 sukuna > 264 sukuna >> 238 sukuna.

Where this puts yuji on ur tier list is up to you. But just solely based on this chainscale I'd have yuji at top 3.

There does exist some narrative scaling for eos yuji to put him over gojo, so I'll probably make another post on that sooner or later

In this post, I'll try to give a perspective on just how strong late 257 and 258 yuji really were pre his injuries from MS.

Pre his awakening, yuji is shown to be on par with 120% yuta, but is still constantly getting perception blitzed by sukuna at times (pic 2)

After his awakening in 257, we get the sukuna flashback with uraume telling us that yuji has equal potential to sukuna (pic 3). Following the Checkhovs gun principal this is something the must have a payoff later. And not even a couple panels later we have this justified with sukuna adressing yuji as an equal challenger/climbing to his level. (Pic 5/7)

We also have the editor note at the end verifying this by saying yuji rivaled sukuna (pic 7). Now, some people like to cast aside the edior note as merley hype, as editor notes are often used as a narrative way to hype up the story. They do this so they can refute the fact that the edior note also says that yuji surpassed sukuna.

But I heavily disagree with this line of thinking, 1st of all the premise that yuji rivaled sukuna is more likely following the Checkhovs gun principal which I just established. And yuji surpassing sukuna makes just amount of sense since its implied that yuji ≈ rivaled sukuna only after his first few bfs, via sukuna's own words.

Also this isnt a case of sukuna blaming yuji's performance on yuji soul punches, otherwise he wouldve said so, since its known that sukuna in character likes to dimenish yuji's performance at every possible point. Instead, sukuna says it's yuji CLIMBING to his level. Which makes sense since yuji was getting constantly stronger via his bfs. (Pic 6)

Even if I go with the take that yuji in 257 was only able to equal sukuna, he'd still be stronger in 258. Since it's noted that yuji's voltage is rising, which we know from similar cases like gojo and dabura implies a drastic difference in power. Whilst in sukuna's case It was due to him preparing to open up a domain(pic 8/9)

Yuji being superior to sukuna in 257 is also heavily implied in mid 258 when it says sukuna was in a desperate situation, with the kanji being used to symbolize someone being pushed to their very limit. Which supports the idea that sukuna simply couldn't hang with yuji. (Pic 10/11)

And yuji being over sukuna is also just blatantly shown in the chapter. Sukuna is getting constantly being outspeed. His punches and ct have near no effect on yuji. Has he's incapable of regaining any footing in the fight

Picture 12 shows yuji taking sukuna's punch and then catching it, even though sukuna used the smoke as cover.

Picture 13 and 14 shows yuji then punching sukuna into a wall, where sukuna then begins to spam dismantles. But before he can dodge or block yuji has closed the distance and already landed a bf.

And In picture 15 sukuna manages to grab yuji's head, yet when presumably using cleave, it does relatively little damage to yuji, which its crazy since this attack wouldve killed yuji a few chapters back.

All you need to know is that yuji's bfs dosn't nerf sukuna as much as people will have you believe. 4 bf amped 256 sukuna is virtually no different than beginning 257 sukuna, which yuji scales rel to before later eclipsing.

Comparing this version of yuji in stats to sayyyy maki

I have 258 yuji > 256 4 bf amped sukuna > 253 sukuna > maki.

Tengen already mentions how it at least requires someone skilled with barriers to change it somewhat. But implying that changing the barriers to a significant degree is something you'd expect from barrier gods like kenjaku.

tengen is talking about her sunyata barriers, which, according to this, an overview would imply that her barriers are "empty" and "void," making them easily able to be configured. Which to our knowledge can't really be said with the barriers of domain expansion.

In yujis domain expansion, we see him be able to manipulate the barriers to switch the scene from a snowy Forrest to an industrial area.

Or litterly changing the area to where sukuna falls right down whilst yuji lands safely. In which we see the area also change from a winter with dead trees to a summer period with lush dark trees in the background.

Yuji is also able to change sukuna's appearance back to yujikuna. Yes, I believe that the entire sequence of yuji and sukuna talking was inside his domain.

I don’t think anyone except maybe dabura actually tanks that

Gojo and sukuna recoverd their output through the same mechanism, creating an rct relay within their brain. In chapter 258 the narrator says Yuji’s repeated soul Black Flashes was the reason for sukuna not being able to establish his rct relay, this directly connects the creation of an rct relay to an output requirement, since we know yuji’s soul punches do two things deminish output and damage the soul harmony between sukuna and megumi. A rct circuit can’t be dependent on soul harmony since sukuna in 266 clarifies that the soul barrier is still on the same level as before the black flashes that gave sukuna the ability to create the rct circuit

Gojo had previously demonstrated the same rct relay recovery in chapter 235 after his Black Flashes. Since both gojo and sukuna both have a human brain there should be no difference in the mechanics, there is no stated reason to assume that the basic requirements for establishing the relay are drastically different between them, if anything sukuna should have a way harder time creating the relay due to his injuries and the amount of stress put on his brain such as infinity void and creating a new circuit to hold his domain expansion

Therefore, when sukuna landed two more Black Flashes in chapter 263-264 and successfully restored his rct output through this mechanism, it is reasonable to infer that he had returned to roughly the same output that Gojo reached in chapter 235. This does not necessarily prove their exact output were identical, but it provides a strong basis for treating sukuna’s restored output in 264 as broadly comparable to Gojo’s post Black Flash output in 235.

What does this do for yuji scaling?

Since we know that sukuna would later receive a rage amp in 265, this would mean that a weakened yuji should be mostly likely comparable to a full output sukuna if not a even stronger one depending on how much stronger that rage amp would’ve made him.

Since sukuna himself also calls this yuji extremely weakend, then a healthy eos yuji should be way way more stronger.

Of course he wouldn’t beat sukuna or gojo due to a hax diff, but it would prove that his physical capabilities is most likely higher than theirs ESPECIALLY in modulo

The hands are consistently capable of peak to near superhuman feats, so I think it’s reasonable to assume that they can throw shurikens at the highest recorded speed which is 128 kmh

Also assuming that he teleported from the Japan trench where kenjaku burried him, he could’ve possibly compressed the space between 300 km off distance

He already uses blue pull to accelerate ,so this should be totally possible for him right?

I thought about it. Since we know that the soul can be targeted because of mahito's domain targeting sukuna's

So the fact that yuji wasn't targeting megumi must mean that he was actively selecting not to, right???

Sukuna even implies this by saying that yuji is trying to flay him, im not the best in english, but isn't this sukuna saying that yuji is trying to basically peel him off of megumi??

There's also no implication that Megumi’s soul was targeted. So yuji upscale, i guess.?

I've heard this statment alot, but ive never seen a pic of the statement itself.

Was arguing with someone, who then brought up this scene, in which they claim that yuji was somehow perception blitzed here despite NOTHING to support it.

All this is, is yuji getting punched outside by sukuna's black flash, but they claimed that somehow sukuna perception blitzed yuji and threw him outside.

Despite NO indication or panels from either sukuna or yuji to suggest such🤣

He also brought up the alleged perception blitz 263, where we literally see yuji block the punch.
