Help my entire home is gone??

Was out of town for the last few days and on the way back noticed that my Home in the Home app is completely empty. All of the rooms are still there but they are empty. My Apple TVs and HomePods still show up, just not third party accessories and no automations. I had a ton of accessories setup into scenes and automations and it would be a huge ordeal to have to redo all of this, especially when I have no idea how this happened in the first place??

New app to emulate The Frame without….the frame

What would you title an app that gives you ultimate control over the look of your TV? Built in art collections, textures, overlays, schedules, and tonsssss of other powerful customizations. Been working on this project for the last month and want to launch it soon!

I just watched matic navigate new curtains

I am sitting in my living room and matic is cleaning the whole house. We added new curtains in front of the hallway to our bedroom that are open and leave a space in the middle for us to walk through. Matic has never seen these before and is currently very nervous trying to figure out a way through, it cannot tell if they are solid or not. About 3-5 minutes into this back an forth dance it just full sent it and barreled through the opening in the curtains. So fun to watch tech work and navigate situations like this.

[HIRING] YouTube Video Editor for Weekly Tech Review Channel, $25/hr

Hey everyone! I'm the host of Tate's Take on Tech, a weekly YouTube channel focused on tech and lifestyle product reviews. I'm looking for a skilled, reliable editor to take this off my plate completely so I can focus on filming and content.

About the channel: Straightforward, honest product reviews with a clean, watchable style. Each video uses a two-camera setup, a main talking head cam and a side angle plus b-roll footage of the products themselves (close-ups, design details, in-use shots).

What I need:

  • Edit one video per week consistently
  • Sync and cut between two camera angles naturally
  • Weave in b-roll to support what I'm saying on camera
  • Keep pacing tight and engaging
  • I'm currently running a pretty bare-bones style (no music or effects), but I'm open to a more polished, creative approach if you have ideas

What I'm looking for in you:

  • Fast and efficient
  • Experience editing YouTube content (reviews, tech, or lifestyle a big plus)
  • Strong sense of pacing and storytelling through cuts
  • Able to work independently with minimal direction
  • Portfolio or examples of past YouTube work required

Rate: $25/hour

If you're interested, drop a comment or DM me with a link to your portfolio and a little about your editing workflow. Bonus points if you tell me what software you use!

Just got mine delivered and the magnetic stand has a cutout for a usb c port with no internals? I can’t turn it on or charge it otherwise. Anyone else have this issue?
