FTM on T for three years, just recently putting in effort to voice training and feel somewhat out of my depth

I've just started trying to understand voice training this past month. this is a recording of me trying to lower my resonance. is it working? any advice? my goal is to get rid of the trans man accent generally, do I have it here?

i've been doing the small dog/big dog exercise and trying to be aware of my tongue posture(?) in my mouth.

my pitch is very natural at around 95 without trying and my resonance means for this recording are F1-364, F2-1595 and F3-2605 and I am focusing very hard on it

sorry for the blank video file, idk how to make anythign that looks nicer

made a post the other day on the timelines sub and deleted, posting here for more relatable perspectives.

just hit 3 yrs on T. feeling like ive made a lot of progress but also, in the context of being a 30 yr old man in a professional environment. i feel a lot of dysphoria, i fear i am seen as a joke by colleagues i respect and humiliation about being basically pubescent when i should be an entire man by now.

would love to hear perspective, advice and challenges to my self depreciating attitude. my goal is to blend in as a man in the world, but idc about being stealth in a real way if that makes sence. i want to be seen and treated as a man but i am not going out of my way to hide my trans past if it comes up.

idk

feeling like im making progress but also that i have so far still to go to achieve my goal.

FTM - 3 years on T - feeling discouraged

3 years on T , 20 months post top surgery, 9 months post salpingectomy

feeling pretty down about myself. i feel so much better than before i started my transition to be clear. it is night and day. but i feel like i will never achieve my goal of passing visually, vocally, sexually or behaviorally. i recently had a breakup where my ex (cis gay man) stated our sexual compatibility on a physical level and generally me being trans were the crux of his lack of attraction to me. basically im sad about how i will never be able to assimilate into society as a gay man and its really discouraging me.

i express these feelings to people irl and they never say things such as "no you totally pass" or such and will give me instead examples of how i am not passing at all and its eating em alive.

Edit: thank you everyone for being so kind and for the reality check on my doom spiral. I think my own perspective has become too critical and it’s good to hear what everyone else is able to see. Definitely feeling a bit better about things to thank you all.

anyone get a hysterectomy after already having had a bilateral salpingectomy?

i got a laparoscopic bislap ~6 months ago. it was far faster to get insurance to approve this coded as birth control for me living in MA. I was mostly prioritizing removing the possibility of pregnancy since that is where most of my dysphoria regarding my reproductive system lies.

now that i've healed from this and am less stressed about pregnancy, I am interested in also getting a hysto and going through the prior authorization needed to coordinate and plan for this more involved surgery. i see my uterus as irrelevant and only posing potential health problems and causing continued dysphoria surrounding the possibility of menstruation (havnt had one in over two years but i sometimes feel a cramp and and causes me a lot of anxiety and to doom spiral).

anyone had this sequence of surgeries? how did the process go for you? how did recovery from a hysto compare to the bislap? how have you noticed this procedure effecting your transition?

also, i plan to keep my ovaries, what happens to them once these other organs are gone? do they just chill out disconnected from everything in your abdominal cavity lol?

(30FTM) truly can not tell if i pass or am even close to passing. would love honest feedback and suggestions

nearly three years on T, 1.5 years post top surgery, a few months post bilateral salpingectomy. currently planning to get a hysto and on the fence about metoidioplasty and mayyyyybe facial masculinization surgery. i have good insurance i am just hesitant letting anyone with a scalpel near my face or junk lol.

i go to the gym 4x a week and am fairly strong and fit but am working on building muscle at the moment. advise on this wold be great.

i grew out my facial hair for a week on vacation recently and it wasn't awful especially after shaping up my neckline. i shaved it off though since i think it was still not full enough looking in the cheeks and seemed sloppy to me. any advise on growing facial hair would be nice as well (how long to give it to get a good idea of what i am capable of growing, any products that would help or styles to try etc) i need to look "put together" for my job which is my only reservation at the moment.

and any other advise on what i could do better. very open to constructive feedback

Adding my own color work design to a polo sweater

It’s been fun(if you are a bit masochistic like me) figuring out how to work in my own design here. I think it’s looking good so far?
