Boot question

Good people of r/enyaq, can you clear up a question I have on the boot - specifically the boot height? I need the boot floor to be as low as possible to give me maximum height (big dog!)

Is the default height for all models (even VRS) low or is it flush with the lip? If it’s flush can I take out all the stuff below the floor out then put the floor back in?

How does that change with the transport pack and variable boot height?

Thanks

Alhambra DPF replacement

Hi

I recently had multiple lights and limp home mode while driving my Alhambra in France (UK car). I managed to get to a garage that did a diagnostic and said that it was a DPF fault but it could be cleaned. This cost about €1000 all in.

Unfortunately 10 mins after leaving the garage I got all the same faults and limp home again. The garage now says that it needs a new DPF and some other parts that feed in to the DPF (not sure exactly what, my French isn’t good enough!). They promised a quote but haven’t produced one, despite being chased.

The car is 11 years old with about 125000 miles on it and We Buy Any Car values it at £1750.

Can anyone give me any idea of what this should cost? Bottom line, am I better off just scrapping it? A Seat dealer, off the top of their head, said about €4000 for a new DPF, but (UK) prices on
online seem lower?

Thanks

Restart Eve?

Hi. I played Eve pretty solidly for about 5 years but then stopped. That was about 15 years ago!

If I started again is there any chance of getting my old character back (it’s the skills!) or would I have to start again?

Thanks

Hi

I’m hoping to visit Canada this year with my family. It’ll be a bit of a road trip and I’ve been looking for accommodation, but I always seem to end up on booking.com or Airbnb.

Can anyone suggest other websites that will give me more alternatives? It’s mostly in cities (particularly Vancouver) and we are looking for what I would probably call mid range - so neither hostels nor 5 star hotels (unless you can get me a great deal!)

Separate tips on ok areas of Vancouver to stay in when we are reliant on public transport would also be great.

Thanks
