Joined the Breitling family

I have always been intrigued by Breitling as a brand, but generally found their offerings too flashy/busy for my taste. I’m more of a “tool” watch guy (I know, I know, the only “true tool” watches are G-Shocks blah blah - have one of those too).
However I recently found a great deal on this and pulled the trigger. Admittedly it’s still the honeymoon phase but so far I’m very impressed. The 42mm size fits my 7” wrist very well with its curved lugs and the bracelet is super comfortable. It will probably be the only one, but I’m happy to now have a Breitling in my collection.

Sound quality issues

I’m part of a podcast that is using Shure SM7B, a Rodecaster, and recording the audio to GarageBand on a Mac. Lately I’ve noticed the audio has a slight but noticeable hum/buzz only when the hosts are speaking. Any ideas or suggestions?

Sure can’t complain about that

This was my first Longines and I am impressed. Enough so that when anniversary time came around I picked up a Conquest for the wife. I don’t abuse my watches but I damn sure wear them. In the year I’ve owned it it has become my daily, been to several countries and a lot of different environments. As you can see, this thing runs like a top. My collection won’t knock your socks off - Omega Aqua Terra, Tag Aquaracer and Carrera, Sinn 104, Seiko Turtle….I always reach for this one.

Thinking about switching hosting platforms

A little background: I have been tasked with managing a podcast hosted by a social psychologist/relationship coach who already operates a highly successful coaching service. The podcast is about 2 years old and has 102 episodes. We are currently at nearly 700k total downloads and average about 25k-30k downloads a month. But things have plateaued, and she wants the podcast to make money.

We currently use Spreaker but are considering shifting to another platform. Spreaker has worked pretty well but I find the analytics lacking. From my research, Transistor and Captivate are the two front runners in the event of a switch.

I’m pretty new to this game, so does anyone have any insight or experience with these platforms (or others)? Also hitting dead ends trying to get sponsors and advertisers, but that’s a whole other can of worms. Thanks in advance.
