i finished an internship i moved for that unfortunately did not pan out into a full time job, which i got a studio for in the south bay. i’m planning to move in with my bf in dtla to lower my living costs while i job hunt, however his place already has a bed and even a desk so i basically need to sell all my furniture, and all the rest of my stuff wont fit so i either need storage (too $$$) or to ship it back home, or just keep it in my car until we move out to a bigger place (likely next may when he graduates)

i am however very stressed about selling my furniture, i dont have much experience with fb marketplace, will lightly used mattress + box spring even sell, same with a new ikea desk, and if not, what are my best options for getting rid of them easily? also, very stupid Q but how do you even time the sale with when you actually move out so you have a place to sleep?

sorry if these are all very trivial, i’m hoping to hear from anyone who’s done this before as this is my first time moving without my parents help & i don’t want to put too much burden on my bf if possible, thank u all sm in advance

edit: i did call some movers nearby but was quoted $500 minimum, but almost everything i need to move will be boxed and it’s >10 miles so im charged the double time for travel

hello, i got super into this game when it first release + the dlc, however i got really busy and the last i played, my current quest is the kyogre + groudon donuts. i have only a few of the berries needed for each of these + not very many high level ones in general (plus trying to save some shiny ones i believe ? been a while don’t remember exactly how it works)

basically wondering the best way to get the berries i need for all the story donuts because my collection seems kinda ass, & is it okay to use the rarer shiny donut berries now, are they super easy to farm later? tysm in advance

hello youtube vod viewer here mostly clip channels, zyox makes so many league/overwatch references all the time (zajef w league as well i think?) but i’ve never caught him live on it, only finding a few vods on youtube i’ve been burning thru. is there a reason he doesn’t stream these as much, just a difference in audience? thanks guys

hi! first time cat owner, planning a trip (5-12?) days for next month, and i’ve had my 6 year old kitty for 5 months. i’m currently considering two options for her, for some background she’s very lazy and plays maybe 10-20 mins a day, otherwise loves to nap on my desk, and she doesn’t get along at other cats. (just wants them away from her)

option 1: free boarding at the rescue i got her from, the owner is very familiar with my cats eating habits (picky, doesn’t drink water) and has a catio + lots of space, however does have 10-15 other cats.

option 2: ask a neighbor to come over 2-3 times a day, i am not very familiar with the neighbor but they also have cats. would compensate for their time & cat would get to stay in the environment they’re used to.

hi, recently landed an interview for a robotics tutor role despite no experience, the shared the tech stack (c++ & python) which i have basic experience with but only the kind of problems you find in cs classes. i’m studying up for the interview, but are there any specific resources or codebases of these programs for robotics competitions that i could look into to get a better handle on what i need to know? thank you so much and sorry if this is not the right place
