Does anyone really use fitness based productivity apps?

Hi r/fitnessonline, I built RepRock, a fitness based productivity app, with the goal of replacing scrolling on your phone with getting fit.

I ran into this issue myself where my screen time would hover around 6 hrs a DAY, and I wouldn't have the mental stamina to workout instead. So I built this app.

It blocks my socials, until I walk, do some pushups, planks, jumping jacks, etc, and then that gives me some minutes to use towards scrolling on my phone. I found this to be a good way to waste time on my phone.

I wanted to reach out to the community to check if other folks have used similar apps, and whether they actually stuck to using it?

If you do end up trying the app out, do let me know if this app idea makes sense, and if there's anything blatantly missing from its features!

Thanks!

[Self-Promotion] I didn't invent something new, but built what I think is a beautiful app: RepRock - Screen Time Control

Hi r/Appstore,

This is my second attempt at building an iOS app.

The first one taught me how to use Xcode, subscriptions, interacting with appstoreconnect, getting it approved and launched.

On my second try, I wanted to make something that looked really nice. RepRock is that attempt.

RepRock is a screen time control app, which blocks apps until you workout, win minutes to use on your screen time. Its worked out really well for me, and i put a ton of effort on the main character, Rocky.

I added animations all over the app, used colors I think are pretty cool and alive and I'm really proud of what I have.

I would love for you to give it a try, and give me feedback on how the app FEELS when you use it. I intended every page to make you stop and appreciate the effort, so i hope that's what it ends up feeling like!

Thanks community!

[iOS] [$74.99/yr -> $59.99/yr] RepRock: Screen Time Control

Hello r/AppGiveaway,

RepRock is a screen time control app, built to get you ripped in exchange for blocking your screen time. To get back access to your blocked apps, you need to walk, do push ups, planks, or even jumping jacks.

I built this to get back a healthier screen time after letting myself go for too long.

I'm dropping the yearly price from 74.99 -> 59.99, which makes it about 4.99 a month :)

Hope you love the animations, the UI/UX, design and all the effort I put in the app to make it look beautiful.

Would love any feedback you have for when you use the app!

Thanks! (www.getreprock.com)

I got tired of opening social media first thing in the morning, so I built an app that won't let me, until I've written down my intentions

Hi everyone,
I had a compulsive and annoying problem when it came to starting my day. The first thing I'd do is grab my phone and head to my socials, messages and news.

I came to realize that this impacted my dopamine baseline, which made the rest of the day uninteresting and un-stimulating.

So I built an app and have been using it for the last month.

The Before App has helped me hit the brakes on doomscrolling at the start of my day, and instead focus on setting my intentions so I know what I want from my day BEFORE it begins.

Hope you give it a try, and that it helps you like it helped me :)

I built a clipboard manager I love that lives in the MacOS notch

Hi all,
I always wished I could do something with the macOS notch, and make it more useful to me. So I built a super fast clipboard manager that lives in the macOS notch.

It stays hidden in the notch area until you hover over it.

A few reasons to try it out!

  1. Built for speed, not feature bloat
    1. I optimized it so the UI appears almost instantly
  2. Everything is local
    1. Every copied item stays on your Mac. No cloud sync, no accounts.
  3. Handles more than text
    1. It keeps text, images, files and links in one searchable timeline
  4. Native SwiftUI/macOS app
    1. Not an electron app 😄
  5. Features that I really wanted
    1. Hover previews
    2. Pin your favorites
    3. Drag and Drop
    4. Automatic cleanup
    5. Keyboard navigation
    6. Image thumbnails
    7. Hotkey activation

Give it a try at notchwizard.com/notchclip and feel free to leave your feature requests on my roadmap board :)

Thanks!

Make my first bunch of money online EVER

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share that after months of working on different apps/extensions/plugins, I finally made my first ever internet money with NotchClip (a MacOS notch based clipboard manager).

https://reddit.com/link/1taq5th/video/dovdn886pm0h1/player

Its a few dollars, but its unbelievable how much confidence this has given me to keep pushing and not give up!

Thanks to this community for all the conversations and discussions. I've been watching and reading from the sidelines!

Hi all,

I kept running into the same problem, I’d copy something, copy something else, and then need the first thing again.

Most clipboard managers felt a bit heavy, so I wanted something simpler and always accessible.

So I built NotchClip (https://www.notchwizard.com/notchclip).

It lives in the Mac notch and keeps everything you copy — text, links, images, files — ready to paste again.

Trying to keep it really lightweight and local-first.

Would love any feedback or ideas 🙏

[NOTE] Reposting since the description on my last post was lost for some reason :/
