How durable is the AYN Thor?

My main concern as someone who's waiting for their AYN Thor to arrive is that I'd like it to last atleast for a good few years (maybe 4-5 years?). I take good care of my devices and I'd say I'll probably use it for about 1-2 hours daily.

I'm getting kind of scared seeing so many posts about broken AYN Thors, either from hinges or screen malfunctions. I know what everyone says: "remember we are seeing so many of those posts because most people actually enjoying their AYN Thors without problems don't usually post it", and while I believe that's true, I've also seen some owners say they don't believe this is a lasting product.

For those of you who own an AYN Thor, would you say the device feels like a lasting product or not? Also, what batch are you? Everyone I see saying their AYN Thor has been working perfectly is from batch 1, so that's a bit concerning for me too.

Thanks!!!

Is it a good plan?

Hi! I wanted to share my plan to have lots of games available to play in the future, and know if you guys believe it's a good one or if there are better options.

Basically, my plan is to have a Steam deck for steam/epic games, aswell as some emulation (mostly ps2/switch), an AYN Thor for emulating anything below that, and maybe even some lighter steam games, and finally a Switch 2 for newer games, either released this year or on the future.

I already got the Steam Deck, and ordered an AYN Thor Pro that should be arriving (fingers crossed) in around a month or two. I'm planning on getting the switch 2 somewhere around next year or maybe Christmas this year. Basically my goal is to be able to play almost any game I want besides Sony and Microsoft exclusives.

Is the Switch 2 a good choice here? I was also thinking about just eventually getting a Xbox rog ally x somewhere in the future instead, but idk if thats a better option, or if I should stick to my plan.

Thanks for reading :)

Anyone know how I can get this whole outfit?

Saw this one from Dismal-Round-3817 while looking for some cool traveller looks ideas and instantly fell in love with it. Anyone know how I can get all the parts for it?

Thanks!

What am I supposed to do now?

So I'm a new player and I just got tasked to go the Grit Gate. Am I supposed to follow the main questline or can I try to explore a bit of the world?

Also, how to you go about exploring, finding villages, ruins and sidequests? Am I supposed to go down on the world cells to find stuff or will I just stumble upon them eventually?

I absolutely love the fanart for this game

So I'm a new player, only 3 hours in. I died my first death at Red Rock (I think that's what it's called) and my second one at Joppa for trying to steal something.

I was having a hard time trying to understand what this universe's vibe was supposed to be or how it was supposed to look. I guess I don't have that much of imagination, and since that's something really important to me I was having second thoughts about keeping on playing.

Then it occurred to me, "look for some fanart online" and maaaaan, every single piece of fanart that I found was FANTASTIC. I just love every single detail of them: the characters, outfits, weapons, places, lightning, colors, the fact that every fanart clearly had a very different artstyle and still all of them helped me SO MUCH to understand what kind of world this was, and also made me want to keep playing so much more.

For everyone who has done some fanart of the game and posted it online, THANK YOUUU!!!!!! you're all truly amazing. And in the case someone it's thinking about doing some, please do!!! Even if you don't post it, I believe that's truly beautiful enough, especially in these current times.

That's it, just wanted to thank every artist out there who has helped me understand this game more, and made me want to keep playing to find all these cool things I keep looking on these drawings :)

Games where you are a true traveler/wanderer

I know there's THOUSANDS of games like this, so let me be a bit more specific.

I'm looking for that feeling of getting to a new town/village, and going straight to the inn to met new people, hear interesting stories and pick up new quests. I don't want to be tied by nothing, just me and the road.

Something close to this could be Kingdom Come: Deliverance, but I do feel like in that game you are sort of "tied" to something, be it the main quest or other characters.

A few other games that are also very close to what I'm looking for could be Kenshi, Unreal World, Stoneshard, Skyrim and Fallout 3/New vegas. I'm just looking for that feeling of being always by the road, discovering new stuff and meeting new people.

Bonus points if you have to take care about stuff like hunger, thirst or energy. Thanks!!!

I'm not trying to argue over it, I'm genuinely curious as to why almost everyone I've read seems to agree on that matter.

I'm currently playing KCD1 for the first time, and I'm loving it. 40 hours in and I feel like I still have at least a good 100 hours left. I want to know in what aspects the second one could be a lot better than the first one, since I think it's great already. Specially since I almost never can distinguish wether an image is from KCD1 or KCD2 lol.
