Where did you meet your partner after being widowed?

Being widowed changes the way you look at relationships and dating. For those who’ve gone through it, where did you actually meet your new partner afterward?

Dating apps feel strange sometimes, and it’s hard to know whether to look for something naturally or actively put yourself out there again. I’m curious how other widows/widowers found love again, and what helped you open up to someone new after loss.

Why is “what do you bring to the table?” seen as a red flag?

Genuine question: why is asking “what do you bring to the table?” considered offensive by some people, especially when they openly expect princess treatment?

If a man is expected to provide effort, consistency, emotional support, planning dates, paying for things, protection, reassurance, etc., why is it viewed negatively to ask what the other person contributes to the relationship?

I’m not saying relationships should be transactional, but shouldn’t standards and expectations go both ways?

Has anyone here struggled with dating again after losing their partner?

I’ve been thinking about getting back into dating, but it feels weird and complicated. Part of me wants connection again, but another part feels guilt, fear, or like I’m betraying what I had before. I’m curious how other widowers/widows handled that stage emotionally.

What was the hardest part for you? And how did you know you were ready?”

Why can’t I DM people on Reddit?

My account is 7 days old and I have around 1800 karma, but I still can’t see or use the chat/DM option with other users. Is this some kind of restriction for new accounts or is something wrong with my account?

One of the prettiest roads I’ve driven through.

I was driving today and randomly stumbled upon this.

Didn’t expect the road and scenery to look this beautiful. The whole place had such a calm vibe, especially with the old Roman aqueduct stretching across the landscape.

15 years for something that should be like that in the first place.

I've heard that lee sin's ult now can knock up other targets even if it executes the first enemy where before it wouldn't

What do you guys think of that?

I recently found this spot and I had to share it. It’s not very known, but the view is really amazing.

I’m posting a short video I took there. If anyone knows the place or similar spots nearby, let me know!
