I sprained my knee about a week ago at work, went to urgent care and got x ray and was told to go to PT. I’ve gotten 5 outside opinions including from people with medical degrees and people with knee injuries that all say I should get an MRI to get q proper diagnosis before PT.

PT (connected to the original urgent care) called me pressuring me to come in, was very condescending and said I don’t know better than a doctor. While i understand the sentiment, I really am quite worried about my injury and potentially making it worse, but my insurance contact will not reply to me and refer me outside the urgent care clinic.

I don’t know what to do, obviously I want to trust doctors but I also am hesitant especially cause they are making money off of my workers insurance

This is my first knee injury btw and I have terrible health anxiety and depression in general for context LMAO
