Have you seen this screen recording effect before? 👀

https://reddit.com/link/1vo1rx7/video/806jtme7zajh1/player

The way the frames pop out in 3D while moving through the recording is pretty damn smooth.

I’m affiliated with the product shown here, so full disclosure I’m sharing this mainly because I’m curious about the technique, not just to promote it.

I’ve seen plenty of screen recorders with zooms, transitions, and cursor effects, but this kind of layered 3D frame animation feels different.

Have you seen similar effects in other screen recording software? What tools are you using for polished product demos?

Would love to hear what the community thinks.

Built an interesting tool that suddenly boosted the traffic!

The trick is known but I couldn't do at mass level, but finally managed to build something where I can find links from popular forums and posts then see if they are expired or unclaimed shortlinks, then the app goes and claims it and also understands the category of the content and then redirects user to your website.

My tool is still a work in progress but want to know the feedback from you guys, or if there are some existing tool like this?

Vault for MCPs? and now IDE agents cannot see credentials ?

Found this interesting project - https://github.com/Axiler-Lab/vaultmcp

"VaultMCP is an encrypted secret vault and MCP gateway. You store provider credentials once. Your AI IDE connects to one endpoint. VaultMCP decrypts secrets only when calling upstream MCP servers — your agents and config files never see the raw keys."

I built a interview preparation platform for mock interviews

I myself and many other friends think that even though we are quite skilled in security we always suffered when there is an interview. I personally failed my meta and google interview for security engineer purely due to lack of preparation and became quite nervous.

Have you guys experienced the same? If so please comment and let me know

Anyone used cyberinterviewprep for hiring cyber roles?

Need feedbacks on this platform, So far the candidates are getting filtered well and I can even see if someone cheated on the exam / interview or not before receiving the resume.

Is there any cyber recruiters?

I have been asking cyber recruiters how they handle mass resume submission and then filtering those resumes to get the perfect results.

Do you use any tool?

Is there any cyber recruiters here? What tools do you use for filtering candidates?

Hi, I have been using LinkedIn mostly but now with AI it has been a real struggle, After sending the candidates to the interviews the feedback is quite bad.

I would want to know the feedbacks of recruiters in this space

I recently did a small survey and figured out that most of the people failed on their interviews when they didn’t actually prepare enough and its not about reading through OWASP top 10 attacks

It about mentally preparing yourself with the soft skills required to tackle the interviewer as well and how will you deliver it.

One of the recruiters told me they meet a lot of skilled guys but when asked they simply cannot even explain their own achievements.

What do you guys to do solve that?

I’ve been running an AI mock interview platform cyberinterviewprep.com for cybersecurity roles, and recently I did a survey with my members and recruiters to validate whether the problem I’m working on is actually real.

Got around 300+ responses, and a pretty consistent theme came up:

A lot of people feel that in cybersecurity, there’s a belief that “skills are enough” and formal credentials don’t matter as much. While skills are definitely important, many respondents said that’s not the full picture when it comes to actually getting hired or moving up.

The bigger issue seems to be that candidates often struggle to clearly communicate their thinking, structure their answers, and demonstrate their experience in a way that matches interview expectations. So even strong technical people sometimes don’t perform well in interviews.

Curious if others here have seen the same thing do you think interview performance is becoming a bigger bottleneck than technical ability in cyber roles?
