Improv for confidence?

Hi everyone,

I grew up with a developmental speech disorder and still struggle a lot with confidence. I don’t want to get into acting/comedy, is taking an introductory improv class still a good idea for me?

I’m new here I’m sure this question has been asked here earlier. Located in NY considering UCB.

Thanks!

Office location change

Hi! My h1b was approved a few weeks ago. I have 2 office locations very close to eachother. My petition and LCA just had one of them (the one I go to most frequently)

How can I add the other location? Do we file an amendment or just another LCA?

The second office is in the same metropolitan area (20 miles apart) (levels are the same in both locations)

PT M7 MBA

Need a short yes/no advice.

I came to the US as an international student for my undergrad. Working in Tech right now currently on H1B visa. (3 YOE)

I’m considering a part time MBA (strictly M7 Kellogg, Booth, Sloan’s new program)

I believe I have a strong profile for full-time programs as well. 3.8 GPA, promoted twice at my current role as well. Looking to get into IB (if possible) otherwise big tech after MBA.

I can start a PT program next fall. Would have to wait at least 2-3 years (no set timeline) until I get my green card and I can try and enroll in a full time program. My employer is sponsoring a green card for me which is why I don’t want to pause my H1B.

Should I just do a PT program or wait until I can enroll in a FT?

Thanks!

Refile PERM?

I recently had a significant change in my base salary. PERM is pending.

Should we refile or amend? would the recruitment get invalidated?

If PERM gets certified would i-140 get denied?

Thanks!

Deactivated today after being on this app for 15 years. Tired of the ads.

Im so sick of the constant ads. They’re even popping up while videos are playing forcing you to click on them. I deactivated today after 15 years and never coming back to this app again.

I’d rather stick with reddit.

MIT Sloan offering PT MBA

Saw an advert that sloan will be offering part time MBA soon. I think that would be another great option in the east coast. Much needed!

Does anyone know if you are able to enroll in part-time masters during your cap gap extension?

The cap gap will be from my undergraduate school and since masters programs start in late August / early september how does this work? (considering H1B gets activated October 1st)

I am planning on deferring my admissions because I dont think it can be done according to my research. Please advise if anyone has had experience with a similar situation.

Thanks!
