Picked up an h&r 348 gamester. Love it. But... It hasn't been extracting spent shells. Anyone got tips about this old beast?
I'm pretty new to the 12 gauge world and very new to these almost relic aged firearms hah. My gunsmith is also so backed up that I haven't had a chance to go to him about the extraction issues so Reddit it is!
The extractor claws are old but seem fine and move freely. The channels were a little dirty and haven't tested again since giving them a good solvent soak. The chamber feels and looks okay as far as I can tell. The shells were getting lightly stuck in the chamber and the extractors couldn't pull them out.
