Audi really crushed it with this body style (8V content)
Picked up a Thule box and Whispbar roof rails last week. Still very happy with the A3 etron after a few mods. Next up are wheels, euro S3 grille and RS3 seats.

Aftermarket wheel appraisal vs stock
I did an online quote and said the car was fully stock. The site gave me a $29k “offer.” I then went to a store and they appraised the car at the same $29k but listed aftermarket wheels on the appraisal. I tried to get info of how much the quote would change if I put the stock wheels back on. They said they couldn’t tell me unless the car had them on it. I rather keep the aftermarket wheels since they are worth $1000. But I’m worried the car’s price might be worth less because the stock wheels have some curb marks. Does anyone genuinely know how much they take off for aftermarket wheels vs stock?

Two weeks with the A3 e-tron
I bought this to eventually replace my B9.5 S4 (whenever it sells) and to swap it as an S3. However, driving it for the past two weeks I can say it’s a great car. Granted, it’s not as sporty (now) or as “luxurious” as the S4 but with a few mods I think it’ll be alright. If you haven’t test driven one do so. It’s good at highway passing, quick from a stand still does 25 miles on battery that fully charges in 4 hours (new updated battery) and has decent handling.

The system is activated. However, the car can go over the lines without any correction or notification. I’m a bit confused by this system as in my Audi it warns me if I’m near the line with the steering wheel vibrating and the wheel will turn the car back into the lane. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
