Has anyone added an auxiliary ground?

I am trying to knock out some of the cheaper possibilities for a rough starting engine. Google.is suggesting possibly corroded ground wire but says I can add an auxiliary ground as an easy cheaper option. I assume I just add the additional wire to the negative terminal in the battery and then to a ground point on the car. I am not sure where the best ground point on the car would be though.

Advice needed

Hello, having some issues and looking for suggestions.

The Sonic was showing codes 2097, 0171, 0420, and 0597.

I started to change the O2 sensors but found the flex pipe had been rusted out. I changed the flex pipe and the O2 sensors yesterday. Last weekend it was having difficulty at take off. The subreddit frequently said it could be the coil packs. I was going to change them out today but before I could move it to the garage it would not start.

I removed the old coil pack and cannot tell if there is an oil leak or if the amount is "normal" as it doesn't seem like too much and dried.

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Do I need to backfill before using concrete?

The ground got pretty torn up as I was removing the old concrete from a broken post. It's probably a dumb question but I am hoping for an easier method than backfill and the redigging.

Turn signal replacement troubleshooting.

Hello, I am swapping out my incandescent turn signals for LEDs. As a test, I hooked the rear right LED signal without a resistors and it seemed to work fine (although a little fast). I disconnected and then hooked up the left signal to the same wire to test that one but it didn't work. I switched back to the first LED and that no longer works. I switched back to the original incandescent and that doesn't work. The fuses look okay and the license plate light works. Any help would be appreciated.
