Does anyone else feel like physical books offer a "digital detox" that screens just can't match?

I've noticed something about my reading habits lately. Over the past few years, I shifted almost entirely to reading articles, e-books, and posts on my phone and tablet. It was convenient, but I started noticing a subtle sense of mental fatigue, almost like my brain was constantly expecting a notification or a tab switch
Recently, I decided to pick up a physical paperback again for the first time in months. The difference was surprising. Holding an actual book and turning real pages felt weirdly grounding. There are no battery warnings, no pop-ups, and no urge to check another app. It forced me to slow down and focus on just one thing.
In an era where everything is optimized for speed and constant input, I’ve come to value physical media not just for nostalgia, but as an active tool for mental relaxation and "digital detoxt" What about you guys? Do you still prefer physical books or physical media in general, or has digital completely taken over your routine?
