Best way to compile fleets?

Hi everyone,

I am new to this and am about two to three months into my algo trading project. I have discovered about 200 Strategies which look promising and I have soon arrived at the conclusion that a fleet is better than a solo strategy. Now how do I best combine strategies? Maybe some have already mastered this and can share a few tipps. My strategies are mostly about indices, gold and some FX pairs. Thanks in advance!

I've found the best budget BT Speaker for home use!

Dear all,

on my quest to find a great speaker for home use (deep yet precise and not wobbly bass, with high sound quality) I came accross the Harman/Kardon Onyx 9.

The sound quality is great, it sounds like a "real" speaker and the bass plays down very deep, to a degree where the Bose Flex, which I added for size comparison, goes mute.

The woofer is forward firing which I prefer for an untreated room like my living room.

Now the best part: It is dead cheap! Even in Germany: I bought it on eBay in mint condition (no auction, direct purchase) for only 115€ . That is insane. This is what the Bose Flex costs here too.

As many of you adore the HK Go Play 3, I thought this might be interesting to you.

Best Bluetooth speaker for home listening that I can still carry around?

I'm looking for a Bluetooth speaker that strikes a good balance between: sound quality, bass, portability, and price.

At the moment I'm using a Bose Flex 2, which is perfectly fine for casual listening, but it lacks low-end bass and doesn't provide the kind of full, room-filling sound you'd get from studio monitors or a 2.1 setup.

I know I can't have everything. I don't want a large, heavy, or very expensive system. Instead, I'm looking for something that sounds excellent in a typical untreated living room, has surprisingly deep bass for its size, and is easy to carry between rooms (or onto the balcony). Battery power is a plus, but not strictly required.

My budget is around €200. Willing to go up a bit or look on used marketplaces.

From my own research, the JBL Authentics series looks interesting. Are there other speakers I should consider?

Warning: Soundcore's fraudulent return practices

Dear all,

I am struggling since a month with Soundcore to return a speaker, and now am facing a fraudulent charge on my PayPal account.

First of all, their new "Tryon" program sounded fair. I test the product and send it back and I was okay with paying for shipping. But then things started to go very wrong:

It took them about 2 weeks to "approve" my return request. There was nothing extraordinary with it, simply a return of the product which should only be one click to get approved. I already was annoyed and expected foul play on their side. Their customer services took days to respond and said that this is normal...

After 2 weeks, the return was finally allowed to proceed. So based on their instructions I chose a carrier (DHL in this case) and shipped the speaker back. The shipping went smootly and I forgot about it.

another 2 weeks later I woke up to a PayPal Notification: My account was charged with the full amount for the speaker! No further warning, no email or invoice were issued, just the charge. When i logged into the shop: my order was gone, no records to be found.

This is the current status quo. I have written to these people again and will open a case with PayPal as soon as the charge is completed.

Long story short: If you want to buy a Soundcore product, do so via any other shop and avoid buying via the soundcore store itself. Regardless of that: most of their products are subpar to other speakers anyways so, perhaps chose a different brand altogether.

Hope this helped you stay out of trouble.

Return of product takes unusually long

Hello,

I bought a Soundcore Boom 2 Plus but decided to return it. Apparently they use a shopify extension named "Tryon" to handle returns. I have used that to start the return process and its been 24 hours at least and I am still waiting for "approval". Also the link sent from Tryon was broken - a link which was promising to lead me to a place where I can ask for a return was just sending me to the Soundcore Homepage. Meaning I had to investigate a bit to even find the right place to initiate the refund process.

How much waiting time can I expect until I can return the speaker based on your experience?

iPhone 16e concerns about C1 modem

Dear All,

I was quite enthusiastic about the 16e as on paper it seems like a great deal but once I held it in my hands I quickly felt disappointed. unlike with my iphone 12 the signal bars (mobile network reception) would typically be only 2 out of 4 (iphone 12 mostly 4/4) and the ping test revealed a ping of 30, versus 12 on my iphone (with 5g)

also, indoors like in supermarkets mobile internet has issues. Apparently the 16e was an "experiment" and the C1 is not proven at all.

So now I am wondering if I should send it back and simply keep using my 12 until it falls apart, and buy the 17e at some point.

I think we were abducted last night ?!

Something odd happened. This morning my GF and me woke up and we both thought it's already Monday. The night before I had lucid dreams which is not happening that often anymore. In it I met my grandma - maybe that was an entity in disguise? A guest staying with us had a lucid dream as well. Both my GF and me had weird sensations in our legs today and the guest had some chest pain.

Wdyt?

IOS 26.5 impact on iPhone 12 battery

Dear iPhone 12 users, how is 26.5 treating you? There are many complaints but also praises about battery life.

by the way, I had the impression that I had to manually restart automatic app updates- if you haven't done that, make sure that all apps are up to date after upgrading
