How to not feel guilty about using sick leave?

I have a 2 year old and a 5 year old. Just had to take a week off because one of them was sick and then passed onto the other and then I got sick with hmpv which was surprisingly nasty. I have the leave balance. Have worked in the same company for a long time so have over 660 hours accrued. But I have honestly taken more sick leave this year since starting a new team than all my working life combined. I don’t want my new team to think I am unreliable. Thats not the real me. Prior to kids, I barely took any sick leave.

Are we at FIRE or close to FIRE?

Couple (38 and 39) with 2 young kids (age 2 and 4). 1.1m in super and 1.3m outside. Expense around 80k to 90k a year. House paid off. I guess the worry is that it feels tight with kids still so young and with inflation so high I am just not sure how much is enough anymore in 20 years time.

Why is it so hard for company to let their employees WFH more?

Genuine questions. Why create RTO mandate? Why create team days? We don’t even have enough seats in the office and yet we have a RTO mandate and we spend so much time discussing about seating arrangements.

Does it make sense to contribute to super early even with concessional contributions so there’s more time to compound?

Does it make sense to contribute to super early even with non concessional contributions so there’s more time for money to compound and you end up contributing less to get the same outcomes. Why don’t people do it and why do the leave until close to retirement to top up super?

I have a 2 year old and a 5 year old and both me and my husband work full time. I am exhausted all the time. What tips do you have to not feel exhausted all the time when you have young kids? ( have checked with my GP and done a blood test, nothing medical to explain the fatigue)
