1950s-1960s French Workwear jacket

I’m not an expert in French workwear by any means. I picked up this jacket recently and I would love to try to date and know more about it, if anyone here is well-versed in these.

SC 1955 Fit check

Hey guys, I’m the person who posted this SC 1947 and you opened my eyes to the deep yoke issue and the pointy butt. I checked the 1955 today. It has a more straight yoke (albeit still quite v-shaped). I think it fits better. The pointy fabric on the ass is a lot smaller than the 1947. I would love to hear your opinions on it.

An issue I have with these 1955 tho is that my balls are not as comfortable as I would like them to be (maybe they are slightly lower rise). Does anyone have an experience with the 1955 and how much the crotch relaxes (if any).

Thank you again for the comments and all your advice.

SC 1947 fit check

As you can see from the front and back pictures, there’s no space to size down. The thighs are on the tighter end already, the waist is good, and the front rise is where I want it to be.

However, this “excess fabric” from the side view is quite strong as you can see in the fourth picture. Is it gonna get better? Or is this cut just not for me?

Lee Rider authenticity check

Hey, would love some help with this Lee 101J. I have owned a few before and never seen this:

  1. There’s a union tag in the pocket but the neck tag says “Made in USA” not “Union made in USA” like you would expect if there is a union tag.

  2. The white tag on the neck has the word “cotton” translated in different languages as you can see here. Also never seen that for a made in USA Lee Rider.

So, my question is: Is this authentic? If yes, can you tell if it’s 70s or 80s? The back of the button also doesn’t have any number or “X” on it.

Is this Type 3 fake?

Hey guy, I’m confused about this Type 3 and would love some help.

Found this beautiful type 3 with a Made in USA tag but the back of the buttons don’t have any number for factory code, just the dash you see in the pictures. All other buttons have the same dash. Is this legit? If so, which decade?

Type 3 authentication help

Hey guys, would appreciate some help authenticating this type 3? The buttons don’t have any numbers on them, just this horizontal dash in the picture on all of them.

If they are legit, what decade are they from?

Is there a way to date these without an inside tag?

Hey, I found these and I was wondering if there is a way to date them? They don’t have an inside tag.

The button says 273, which apparently is Poland after some research! But any help with the date of production would be highly appreciated! Thanks guys! 🙏

Legitimacy check

Are these legit? The back patch looks a bit too clean (with less text also) and the inner tag says 501 0196 but I can’t find anything online about 0196 being the color code for black wash. The factory code on the back of the button matches the factory code inside tho.
