Wrio laughs in the face of Dire

Investment: C6R1 Wrio, C0R0 Odette, C1R1 Yae, C2R1 Nicole

Comparing lowest and peak DPS:

MH (549k/562k) vs DiDS (562k/585k)

Comes out to 2%-4% difference at this level of investment.

My MH set is perfect with no missed rolls while DiDS still has some stinky pieces.

Assuming I get a cracked DiDS set eventually the difference would probably only reach 6-7%.

On lower Wrio cons, the difference should be much smaller since his personal damage matters more at higher investment. Use this info as you wish!

I found a combo that C6 Wrio can use that doesn't have you constantly watching out for the ECA throughout the rotation. My DPS after the first rotation is stable at around 570k with this.

Investment: C6R1 DiDS Wrio, C1R1 DiDS Yae, C2R1 Gift Nicole

Odette is lv70, C0R0 with 4p Furnace. Trash build at 2.1k atk, 63em, 44/223 crit, 1/6/1 talents.

Setup is always Odette EE, Yae EEE, Nicole E

1st rot - Setup, Wrio N5D 3(N5CD) N5

Succeeding rots - Setup, N3CD 3(N5CD) N5

When I do get Odette fully built I hope I'm able to reach 600k DPS with this team, which will make it a 50% increase from my 401k Melt comp at 2 less cost.

DPS will not be the same for everyone as our builds are different, and this is niche to C4-C6 due to the increased healing from C4, but thought to share this with you guys!

I'll be testing pre-C4 combos using a friend's account sometime soon. Keep you posted!

The answer is no, not really. You just need to be more mindful of your combos!

Team investment: C6R1 Wrio, C2R1 Xilonen, C0R1 Mav/C0R2 Wolf Fang Durin, C2R1 Nicole

Wrio IS able to melt all his hits at C6 with solo pyro.

At lower Wrio investments, the gap is much wider with the Mavuika comp doing up to 30k more dps at Wrio C3.

At this investment though, Mavuika loses a lot of her value to Durin at similar costs in both buffing capability and comfort, because Mavuika just does more personal damage while Durin enables more buffs on Wrio.

To execute this combo with Mavuika, it requires two things to be "optimal":

1. That you swap quick enough to allow her to melt her burst (instant reset if not). We're talking split second actions with no room for delay. This has stayed true no matter the Wrio investment.
2. Specific to C6, you should be able to time exactly when her e procs before starting your 3rd NA chain. If you do it too early, she starts melting. If you do it too late, you're not going to melt all of your last double CA.

Durin activates Nicole's Celestial Gift, he applies Pyro at roughly the same rate as Mavuika, and his proc rate being every 1s instead of 2s with 1U/2hits makes it easier to time your 3rd NA chain.

Lastly, my main gripe with Durin about not being to crystallize cryo after the first rotation was generally solved by the fact that Wrio C6 makes him apply so much cryo that Xilonen can comfortably skill off it every rotation. The problem fixed itself!

At higher support investments, Durin beats Mavuika as Wrio's melt enabler by a mile.

I think I'm done testing melt for a while.. On to SSC!

Wrio's Enhanced CA can reach the balls for any off-field electro or pyro to react with! Use this info as you will lol

Uploading my Dire run here to share the rotations I did for this clear! I think there are still some things I can optimize, but I'm already satisfied with my clear time.

I just cleared Dire with my C2R1 Wrio! Apparently with C6 Fischl you can just directly go ham on the Boss's shield and ignore the flying drones 👀

This is the 2nd time he's cleared Dire! I'm so proud of our boy!

My investment is E1S1 Mydei, E1S5 DDD Tribbie, E2S1 Hyacine LC Cyrene, E0S5 Herta Shop Hyacine or RMC.

Best I can manage is 1 cycle, and my run with Hyacine was able to get 2 Cyrene Godslayers on Sparxicon phase 2, bringing her down to like 30% before she stole Mydei away.

I think getting E2 Cyrene messed up my rotation timing since she gets her ult so fast now.

Any runs out there? Would hate to leave it as the only non-0 cycle given I just got E2 Cyrene for Mydei
