Nerdy Question: Tremolo Bar Height/Angle Ultra Strat vs. Deluxe Strat

OK, this one is just a silly personal research question, as it is something that has been eating away at me for a couple years now. I own a 2013 Deluxe Strat, and a 2022 Ultra Strat. Each has a "2-Point Deluxe Synchronized Tremolo with Pop-In Arm". The wiggle sticks have different degrees of angle. The tip of the Deluxe sits about 53mm from the bottom of the bar to the pickguard, the Ultra sits about 33mm. Has anyone else noticed the Ultras (or newer deluxe 2-point tremolos) having shallower angles than older models? The Ultra sits too low for me, and I think I'll need to finally try to find a replacement for it. I am only curious if this is how they are designed, or if mine is simply out of spec. The Ultra's is slightly thicker than the Deluxe as well. I can't find my darn calipers for a measurement at the moment. Again, I know this is silly, and it's just a question that I have had for quite a while.

Thanks for nerding out with me for a moment.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the Deluxe is taller, as you can see the Ultra fits inside of it.

Repair Neck Finish Chip to Sell or Leave it?

I am about to list another guitar on Reverb. On the top back of the neck there is a small (~4mm at its widest point) chip in the finish. It's smooth (no sharp edges) as I had already dropped a little CA in there a while back to seal it. Should I bother even attempting to drop fill this more in an attempt to completely smooth it out, or just leave it? I already have the listing set up (not published) with the picture I am adding here and the description of the chip. Personally, I don't feel like it's worth fixing as it. It doesn't affect anything other than someone knowing it's there and perhaps occasionally feeling it.

I'm not a luthier, and I haven't attempted to repair such a thing (especially on a curved surface). I don't think I would have a problem, it's just that I would have to go out and buy more materials as I don't have the sandpaper, polish, and I need some thin CA glue. Amazing you can't find thin CA anywhere in stores, you have to order it online. I sure miss being able to buy things at a store as everything gets put on hold as you have to wait for a 2 oz. bottle of glue to be shipped and delivered. That's a different problem. Hah.

If enough people say "fix it", hell I'll go for it. It's still a learning experience. I'm not sure it's just "drop fill", sand it down, polish, and voila. It will still probably be a visible repair around the edges, but maybe sanding down a little first, to remove any embedded grime and all will be the key there.

Thanks for you time!

Oh, for reference, I had seen this StewMac video in the past. Seems like a lot of effort, but if that is what it takes there here we are. Again, this is curved surface, so it makes the old razor blade scraping a little more difficult.

New Faderport 16 - Button/LEDs Flickering

When the LEDs (buttons) are in their "dim mode", or I would say "ready state", there's a lot of flicker to them. Not blinking, but noticeable flicker. All of them. Has anybody experienced this with theirs, or did I receive a faulty unit. It's hard to capture in video, due to frame rate and whatnot, but I think you can see it here. The video was done in daylight. No artificial lighting was used, so there is no frame rate vs. frequency issue.

I just doxxed myself with a third party as I sent this same info to PreSonus/Fender.

Blunt Hit - Paint Damage Repair

I recently purchased a previously owned Mark Hoppus Jag bass. It got damaged in transit. I decided to keep it and get a partial refund. Now that that is out of the way, I'm not so concerned about the cosmetic aspect, but more of the potential for chipping (and snagging on something). The dent itself is hardly noticeable when looking at it, but at the correct angle, zoom, and lighting you can see this. The issue is that I can feel slight edges on the paint. What would you suggest for reinforcing the paint edges? I'm guessing I should wick in some thin CA clue (if it will wick in) on the edgy section, and then use a couple different high grit sandpaper to smooth it out and polish. Or do I first smooth out the edges, then fill, then sandpaper again? Maybe I should sand it, then apply some gloss polyester finish? I'm looking for the easiest route, just to protect it from getting a "reflecting pool chip". 😄 Perhaps it's just coat it with some poly and then polish? Again, not trying to fix the dent. Only trying to save the paint from the future. It know it's hard to determine everything from this post. I may read responses of "do nothing it will be fine".

Thanks for your time reading this. If r/luthier is not a good sub for the question, let me know where I should post this.
