After playing juggernaut modes and spawning as law enforcement, I saw something about this community that really should be addressed

THIS IS NOT A RANT ABOUT HOW SHITTY THE GAME COMMUNITY IS, OR HOW BAD THE GAME IS, I CONSIDER IT BETTER THAN BLOOD DEBT AND IT'S GUN SYSTEM

so now that we put that aside

I want to address everyone's tactical instinct, and self preservation, I've seen alot of players that simply rush in for the kill in a juggernaut or police wave in classic modes, where they end up dying pretty easily even after knowing where the killer is.

When I played killer for like the 6th time, during the arrival of the police, I knew they were spectating me so I did a pump fake of my location, and hid somewhere else, I could've killed them all from behind but I got caught off guard by more police arriving behind me, but it proved how easy it is to wipe police out.

And another mistake I saw in juggernaut mode is that everyone ran into a collective crowd and threw themselves in front of the juggernaut, which caused extremely high casualties, this was the same case when I was juggernaut, I got alot of kills but died cuz I rushed.

I just wanna give you guys some tips on combat doctrine like this (cuz I'm a milsim game chud who overanalyzes these things)

  1. Never stay out of cover for long time: the best way you can preserve yourself is to keep yourself hidden, and move in quick rushes to cover, I suggest using third person to peek out of cover instead of being in fps and peeking.

  2. Always be mindful of all the angles you can be shot from: if you're in an area where alot of angles can give the killer an easy kill, and if you don't know where the enemy is, it's best to run to cover where you aren't open on all angles, because if not, you've compromised your lifespan.

  3. Sprint only when you need to, jump when you need to: playing this game I observed that stamina does not last long , and if you run out of stamina you're a sitting duck that's quacking constantly with how you can hear your character breathe, jump when you're getting shot at, it might get a few shots away from you.

  4. As a killer, take your time with doors, though do it quickly, you don't know if someone's waiting behind there, or if a whole squad is ready to jump you. When you shoot open a door that's locked, take a step back so the citizen can put their melee on cooldown, and then rush in and open fire. And be wary of open doors and clear corners, as well as when you want to shoot open a door, shoot it from a distance where your gun barrel doesn't clip through the door, this serves as an indicator for survivors to get them on guard tenfold.

  5. As police, try to remain in a formation where all angles are clear, and don't crowd up.

  6. Corridors without doors on the side serve as very good choke points for killers or police with assault rifles, it is best to find an alternative way or to get the killer to reload and that you can rush in to get the kill.

That's all, if you want to ask me more questions on something like this, put a comment and I'll reply

Question about ink

Today I took out my ink which I hadn't used for a while (2-3 months if I'm correct) , it got all globby, I used some water on it and it turned out fine while using it, but will it like dry out or be ruined? I added a bit of water to at least liquify it where the tones I add with a Gpen are not damp, also another question , I want to transfer my ink into a large lidded bottle since my gpen gets drenched in ink from the lid lining,

(First one is the original bottle, it's an isomars ink bottle)

(The other two are possible candidates for the ink, but I don't want the ink to dry out in them if I put it in, I feel the brown one would be promising but please tell me, I'm not experienced in the technical side of things-)

Can this be a reward skin for the pilot helmet's mandibles/mask?

A pattern like this would be really cool as a mission reward in my opinion, even though it's from a call of duty game I feel like we must to have something like this (even though we have similar stuff with the m50)

is it normal that I am more scared to be a shock trooper than a regular trooper?

I feel like i would waste a shock kit or shock slot in elite slop

but I end up getting some decent amounts of kills anyhow (7-9) cuz I'm a scaredy cat (I average 11-14 kills per game as a regular troop)

im really sad rn

I don't have a pet mouse but I really wanted to, I had those small cute mouses as rodents in my house, I tried to befriend it by feeding it, but the hantavirus scare came and I was forced to try to get it out of my house

today i released it out of my house thankfully not killing it but me and my entire family were trying to catch it

I feel so bad for scaring it so much it was shaking so hard, and I had to swallow my desire to keep a mouse as a pet and just make it go outside

this photo is the breed of mouse im talking about

Are there any plans for wars after the forman wars? In the 2000s

Like would antares or some other former imperial allied nation begin a war?

Or is it all peace?

Will realistic ballistics ever be added?

There's fence and window ballistics which are obviously there, all guns pen them.

But what about wood or concrete walls? Snipers below 12x7mm (or 50cal) should be able to penetrate most thin-mid thickness wood surfaces, and maybe concrete with guns like the hecate, Door shooting must also be there, using shotguns to shoot a hole in the door, or maybe shooting the door alot, it'll upgrade the cqb experience

goofy suggestion

an ability to bring your HQ employees from your defense into OW, as a small AI squad, similar to ready or not or ghost Recon breakpoint AI squad mechanics, it can upgrade the experience but cause alot of lag if we allow more than two to three npcs per player, thought it'd be good if it was a sort of defense upgrade reward or a research reward.

The catch is your AI is on the level of the POD at fort, but if your AI die after being downed, they're permanently gone so it promotes being careful.

And your AI's have a unified outfit but you can assign different objectives to them like medic, defense, offense etc..

I know this feature might not get added but it's a damn good idea to make battles bigger or have SOME backup in stealthing / some hivemind coordination.

pov: u spent 500 dollars for gas mask filters on the "analyze dumps" mission in OW, and realized you didn't need to get more than one filter

What scopes have functioning rangefinders and can be used for snipers?

I saw that the g36 and SVD had rangefinders built into their scopes but I'm looking for other scopes that have rangefinders too 💕

I'm a level 58 (if I remember correctly) and I've never used grenades in this game ever.

could someone give me a small description of how all the grenades are used and uitilized? I'm confused about how flash grenades or smoke grenades could function in combat

basically I just want to know how will it benifit me to use smokes or flashes
