What was the most helpful thing your ministering sisters did for you during cancer battle?

I hope I can post this here. The sister I minister to has been going through cancer treatment and isn’t improving in the time frame expected. She’s struggling physically and also emotionally of course. We have meals set up for the family but I don’t know what I should be doing. She’s in pain all the time. I can send texts and reach out that way but I want to know if there are other things that were helpful that I’m not thinking of.

I dreamt about one of the baseline shooters before they caught him

I was a kid in the Phoenix area when the baseline drive by shooter (later found out to be multiple men) and the baseline rapist/killer (one man) were on the loose. I remember being terrified for months and thinking one would climb through my window and kill me. One night, I had a dream and saw a very distinct man and I saw him taking pictures of athletes and their families. I knew he was a sports photographer. I remember feeling scared in my dream, like I knew he wasn’t a good person. And that was it. I don’t know how much time passed between then and when the guys got caught but later on, I saw on the news that they caught the shooters and when I saw a picture of Dale Hausner - I said “that’s the guy from my dream!” And it turns out he was a former WBAN (women’s boxing archive network) photographer. To this day I can’t explain how that happened and it still freaks me out.

Medium was way off base. What do I say?

A family member gifted me a session with a medium which was a very thoughtful gift. I lost my mom to suicide a year ago and I’m pretty open minded with this kind of stuff so I was grateful for the gift. Well, I got the letter from the medium today about her connecting with my mom and all I could think after reading every line was “that’s not my mom at all” it was comical how off base it was. I don’t know if I should say anything or just say thank you and move on

My grandma just turned 100! I need music recs for a slideshow of her life

I think her fav music would probably be from the 1940’s but I’m open to things in the 30’s or 50’s too. What are some feel good, cheerful songs about life and reminiscing??

I need more songs for birthday slideshows

These are songs I’ve already used for my kids birthday slideshows. I like a happy vibe with themes of fun, the beauty of life, and unconditional love - but not too on the nose about being a year older etc.

Send Me on My Way - Rusted Root
I’m on My Way - Phil Collins
Smile - Uncle Kracker
When Can I See You Again - Owl City
We’re Going To Be Friends - The White Stripes
Where We Belong - Tyler Brown Williams
You Make My Dreams Come True - Hall and Oates
Upside Down - Jack Johnson
My Wish - Rascal Flatts
Mr. Blue Sky - Weezer
Little Bitty Pretty One - Thurston Harris
Kaleidoscope - A Big Great World
Good Time - Owl City & Carly Rae Jepsen
The Cape - Guy Clark
Be Around - Ocie Elliot
All Ways - Elliot Park

It takes me so long to find the perfect song for it! I need more ideas
