"Rinse (only)" cycle: does it release any rinse aid?

I had a post recently about residual suds after a rinse only cycle. Comments solved the mystery (mostly) and it is likely the rinse aid. My questions now are

  1. If I run the short rinse only cycle, does the DW release any rinse aid?

  2. I'm trying to get the left over rinse aid out of my reservoir. Do i have to run full wash cycles until it is depleted, or is there a more direct way?

Yes, I know rinse aid is recommended, but SO doesn't like it. Thanks.

CMV: S Pen is not coming back to the Fold

I'm not sure people should hold off upgrading their Fold until S Pen comes back. It seems Samsung is moving towards thinner, lighter and more media friendly form factors, and Pen is not a priority in this trend. Just as physical keyboard that once seemed essential has become obsolete (RIP BBK2😥). The longer the Fold line continues and become more mainstream the less likely they will bring back an older feature that most people haven't even experienced. There is a higher probability that they invent some virtual pointer system in the future.

Seasonal food in late November

We recently visited Vancouver and loved it. We were told at the time that world cup brought extra energy. Nonetheless, we have already booked a return trip for the last week of November. Now I just found out that many consider November to be a bad time to visit because of the weather. Even better, I can see Vancouver at its "worst." We loved the food in Vancouver and Richmond. So I wonder if there is any seasonal food that we should try in November. Thanks again.

How to split a family of four (two children) into two reservations on the same flight?

Two parents and two children. I have enough individual miles to book three people on the same reservation, AND take the 10k mile discount. Not enough for the fourth person, but we do have enough pooled miles for a second reservation. My concerns is obviously having one party bumped from the flight. I know I can call and "link" the two reservations, but that's actually not a guarantee. It's a short flight (2h). I have the Quest card so if I have a child on my reservation I can get up to 4 free check-ins. My questions:

  1. Does have 2 people on a reservation making it less likely to be bumped than 1 person?

  2. Should I split up the family evenly or go with 3 and 1?

Anything else I'm missing? Thank you.

Better than SF Bay Area Chinese/HK/Taiwan food

I often heard Richmond has the best Canto food outside HK. I believe that. We are visiting from SF, and would like to try some places that people would consider to be superior (not limited to canto). I have heard about the food courts at the malls. I'm not sure if I should trust places like Eater. If people need me to narrow it down, I'm looking for dim sum, Cantonese, shanghainese (SJB), but anything else the experts think I should try would be great. Thanks.
