Any applehead from NL? 🇳🇱

Heyyy! Is there anyone here from the Netherlands who’d love to connect?

I’d really love to meet some fellow Michael fans in real life, people I can share the love for Michael, his music and everything around him with. ❤️

I’m also thinking about going to the MJ Tribute Night in Rotterdam this Saturday. I’ll probably be going by myself, but it would be SO nice to go with someone! 🕺🏽✨

So if you’re going too, or you live in the Netherlands and would like to connect, please feel free to message me! 🤍

Struggling with my Mind

Lately, I've been feeling emotionally overwhelmed and honestly, I'm scared of my own mind 😣

I've noticed that whenever I become passionate about something, I don't just like it, I give it my whole heart. I think about it all the time, I feel everything so deeply, and it becomes such a big part of who I am. It's like I live and breathe it.

But then, one day, that connection disappears. It's not that I slowly lose interest—it feels like I become disconnected from it completely. And when that happens, I almost feel like I'm becoming a different person. Then eventually something else comes along, and the cycle starts all over again.

What scares me isn't changing interests. It's feeling like I don't know who I really am underneath all of them. I worry that I'm never stable, that I'm never consistent, and that I'll always keep changing my mind.

Right now, that deep attachment is with MJ.I know it might sound difficult to understand, but it's become much deeper than simply being a fan. Thinking that I'll never meet him or hug him breaks my heart, and there isn't a single day that I don't think about him. Sometimes it feels like all my happiness depends on something that can never happen, and I know that isn't healthy. I don't want my life to feel controlled by something that causes me so much pain.

I also don't think this is only about MJ.Looking back, i’ve had many relapses like this. Even in Rome I had, being in a “crazy” life kinda of helped and didn’t at the same time. But since 17, I kinda always had this deep, sad moments.. I know i went through many changes in short time, it makes me happy but also I feel like I've been carrying so much emotionally. It's as if everything has built up inside me, and now it's all coming out at once..

Lately, my emotions change so quickly.. I've been crying a lot, struggling to eat, sleep, focus, and even enjoy moments that should make me happy. Sometimes I feel emotionally numb, like nothing really excites me anymore. I even find myself wondering what the purpose of life is. Others, i feel excited and with so many ideas and plans. but then, it fades away.. I’m suffering 😔 sometimes I wish I could just disappear for a little while because I feel so overwhelmed and exhausted by everything that's going on inside my head.

I don't know exactly why this is happening, and I'm trying to understand it myself, but sometimes i go crazy, not even understanding myself. I'm going to speak to my doctor soon, because I know I need help, and I want to get better.

Can anyone relate to me? if yes, how do you cope and live with this.. FIY, i do medication treatment.

Seeking advice

Dear Moonwalkers,

How do you cope with the fact that you'll never be able to see Michael perform live or hug him?

I never had the chance to see him in person, and knowing that I never will is something that breaks my heart. It's a thought that makes me cry almost every day.

What helps you find peace with it? What brings you comfort, happiness, or a sense of closeness to him despite everything? I'd really love to hear your experiences.

Michael 💖

I’ve always loved Michael’s songs. Since 2009, I’ve heard the songs and all but never had that big interest inside me to search more. I’m 25 now and lately, for the past 3 weeks, I’ve been searching, watching interviews, hearing songs in a loop every single day, all his humanity, I wake up and sleep thinking about him, and every conversation makes me think about him. I’m not interested on anything else lately, just everything related to him. I awakened a love, a great love inside me that I haven’t felt for YEARS. I was a great one direction fan, but the love I feel now feels so different. Feels like, I want to make him proud by making a change in the world and changing the world for the better, influencing others to do the same, and spreading love. He has such a powerful aura. For the past 2 days I randomly cry because I find myself thinking that the world still isn’t a better place, that there are so many evil people out there. I wish I could hug him one day and tell how much I appreciate him. I am surprised because I never imagined I would feel this genuine love for a celebrity again. Michael is special. Michael is a pure soul. 💖

A passionate MJ fan seeking advice

For the past almost 3 weeks I have been in my “crazy most passionate fan era” something I haven’t experienced in YEARS. You know Michael movie came out, I always liked his music and knew general things, but past 3 weeks I’ve been hearing his songs everyday, every conversation lead to him on my mind, I think about him all day, how good and humanitarian he was, how many good things he did for the world and for the children, how talented and great he was, yet, he suffered so much, had a traumatic childhood, had the hair burn accident, low self esteem, diseases, lot of people saying he was a pedophile and treating him as absolute shit, why such a good human being had to suffer that much, while there are stupids, idiots and assholes with all the power, money, and are bad persons and destroying our planet and doing everyday bad things? Why those persons always live longer? I’m revolted and I have been consumed by this and find myself crying many times, because it’s not fair him dying such a young age, I feel he died sad, I’m feeling so sorry for him and absorbing his pain, so basically I love him so much even without knowing him and I was 8 when he passed away and it makes me even more sad knowing I’ll never met him. I’ve been always like this, too empathetic, I cry a lot because I feel others pain and I have this thing inside me that wants to change the world for the better, wants to eliminate the bad persons but I know it is impossible for a single person to do it specially when u are not rich. I feel lost and with many directions and I don’t know which one to choose professionally, I want something to change the world but makes me earn good. I don’t know. I need something advice.

Being vegetarian in Netherlands

Does being vegetarian in the Netherlands have a good impact on the planet? Is it ethical to buy plant protein here? Or can it worsen the environment?

Also, what are the best ethical brands to buy from?
