I’ve just received the bundle from DWP and I have some questions.

Am I supposed to counter each point they make? EG they state I have no input for fatigue ergo there’s no evidence and fatigue is discounted. Should I counter that by pointing out medical letters stating fatigue? Or that’s its part of my diagnosed condition ?

As for other evidence… I’ve recently been awarded a blue badge. How much weight will that have given that my PIP claim started in October? The delay is a mixture of being unwell, stress at work with medical appts and PIP appeals etc. There’s only so much a fatigued person can do.

I’m planning on going to Glasto next year but my mobility over distances is crap so I’m planning ahead. I’ve been to glasto several times when my body worked properly…

- PA tickets… how do these work? If my access application is accepted do they automatically get one? Do I need buy in advance?

- Scooter/powerchair… how easy is it to get around site on one especially if it rains. Is it better to bring own or hire one?

- Camping… I cannot do tents and need sleep to avoid flares. Is there any accessible glamping? If not, how have people found camper vans camping/parking for accessibility?

Any issues known issues with the roof (other than usual soft top stuff)?

Aside from the usual used car stuff like MOT, service history etc… what else do I look for?

How to check battery health buying privately? Whats the expected drop in battery health over time? Is there an accepted % drop in range overall for all battery sizes?

Final question… what would you buy if you couldn’t get an i3?

I’m in the market for a new car and cannot find a decent 451 with PAS. I’ve seen a few EQs pop up on my search for similar price to 453s.

EV forums don’t seem to know much about them.

Any feedback ? Are they worth buying, or shall I go for something bigger?

After spending lots of time looking for small autos under £5k I’m beginning to think I might have to look seriously at EVs.

Although my budget is £5k I can push it to £8/9k for a car that’s really worth it but I would prefer not to.

I need a small city car , on street parking, able to charge at home and via on street charging (3 within 2 mins from home), very little regular mileage (around 200 per months max), access to larger ICE for longer distances and happy to stop to charge if needed.

So far I’ve seen:
Smart EQ for two
Renault Zoe - not a lot for sale near me without battery lease
Nissan leaf - too big for my needs plus the old ones are ugly!
Kia soul - bigger than I need but a potential
BMW i3
E- up - currently drive an ICE mii

Any experience of specifically the Smart, i3 and Soul?

I’ve not had a chance to test drive any yet.
