Is it ok to retract job offer?

Hello! I already signed a contract and start date ko is July 01. Nakapagpasa na rin ako ng pre-employment docs and PEME. However, a better offer arrived kaya plan ko sana iretract.

Mapagbabayad kaya ako ng penalty? Wala naman explicitly stated na violation ang pag-withdraw.

I understand na sobrang hassle nito sa HR pero anlaki kasi ng difference ng pay + hybrid setup :((((( Idk if I should pursue the better opportunity kasi im scared

Some things na nasa contract:

This Contract of Employment is executed this July 01, 2026

In case the ANALYST violates any provision of this Contract as established after due process, the company shall be entitled to liquidated damages amounting to Four Hundred Thousand Pesos (P 400,000.00), which ANALYST hereby agrees to be deducted from the ANALYST's last pay from the company. This shall be without prejudice to company’s right to resort to other legal remedies
