Serious Answers Only: Do you ever love a pairing so much that you seek it in other IPs?

What I mean is: do you love a pairing so much that you seek it elsewhere in other IPs, in pairings that somewhat remind you of the original pairing?

I will be serious here...

I have loved Kacchako since 2021! I was 15 when I first got into BNHA, and I'm 20 now! My relationship and interpretation of Kacchako have changed over the years. I love Kacchako so much that I try to seek Kacchako-adjacent pairings in other anime, comics, soap operas, etc.

I've found Kacchako in the manhwa Betrayal of Dignity and the many Harlequin Comics that feature blond male leads and brunette female leads...I watched a Korean drama because someone did a Kacchako AU fanart for it! I literally watched The Mummy because of someone's The Mummy AU fanart!

The Bollywood movie, Jab We Met, reminds me of them, too!

Nothing can ever 100% compare to Kacchako, but I love finding things that remind me of Kacchako, though!

I actually hugged a female schoolmate when she revealed she loved Kacchako. We hugged each other and jumped in joy, hehe!

Anyway, if you feel similar for another pairing, please do not hesitate to share!

What are some well-written love stories that are so beautifully written that the diction and all that fun stuff added to the prose have you thinking every line is a pure work of art that could be put up in an art gallery?

I ask this because certainly there are stories that are beautifully written that have me crying at how well-done it is. Oh, how I'd love to give anything to present flowers to the author for these pure works of art; true masterpieces they are!

Please, share! I'd love to discover my next favorite book!

What are some well-written otome games that are so beautifully written that the dialogue, CGs, and all that fun stuff added to the narrative have you thinking every line is a pure work of art that could be put up in an art gallery?

Although I've not completed enough of Ikémen Prince: Beauty and Her Beast, Hakuoki, and Cinderella Phenomenon...The visuals alone are enough to be front and center in an art gallery. I'd pay good money to go to an otome game-themed art exhibit at an art museum. As for plots, I do think the plots/narrative are dynamic and have lots of care and consideration put into the writing.

As an English literature and writing major...I weep at beautifully written stories that have me in awe at how well thought out they are. I'd love nothing more than to present the authors with desserts and flowers. I graduate with my degree in June 2027...Hopefully, I can write a fanfiction that has someone in awe and weeping at the beauty of my story like I have done for certain otome games.

For people writing romantic shipping stuff, which pairings are you currently writing stories for?

I'm currently writing a messy story where Giyuu/Shinobu and Tanjirou/Kanao from Demon Slayer have equal screentime despite not shipping either. It was a challenge that I am very much writing out of spite to prove a point. I actually want these four in this story to have happily ever afters because I went all out on the melodramatic soap opera shenninagians.

What about everyone else? I'm curious to know!

Do you ever feel alone with your pairings even though there's a community for it?

How do I say it? I love Kacchako the pairing, but I dislike the community with certain shippers and content creators being against what I stand for and why I love the couple.

For rare pairs/lesser known pairings/fewer liked pairings like TokoJirou and TetsuKendo, it feels like I am the only one who interprets them in a particular way, and many would disagree with how I view the couple.

SFW, gush to me about your current WIPs and future WIPs that you've not even begun writing for. I want to cheer you on.

Everyone has something they're working on or would like to work on. Gush about it to me. I want to feel your excitement because you ought to be in full glee to write something you'd enjoy, and so will others!

Which male leads would you allow your daughter to bring home with marriage in mind, and which male leads would you file a restraining order against should your daughter bring him home to marry?

I'm nosy, and I want to see how messy everyone is!

As someone who only ever reads about Dukes and begrudingly allow for her to read Marquess/Marquise romances, she has to bring home a Duke like her Mommy Dearest did, bahaha!

For countries that use the euro...Do you still have the old currency?

My friend from Lithuania is planning to gift me money from Lithuania(the old currency) and from Denmark. From European countries, I currently have euros, of course, but also money from the Czech Republic, Scotland, Sweden, Ireland, Estonia, Ukraine, and Romania. I love how beautiful the bills from Romania are because of the florals, and the Czech coins I have are rather neat to look at.

Anyway, my Lithuanian friend is still looking around for old currency since not everyone has kept the old money. I'm wondering if anyone still kept the old currency.

What is THE MOST POPULAR, or one of the most popular romance films from your country?

You can learn a lot about a culture from their romance-related media, and I am curious what sort of plot lines, tropes, scenes, etc. are popular in each repesctive countries! Of course, romance and courtship are unique and won't be universal.

In your culture, who pays for the bride's attire and groom's attire for the wedding?

I ask this because I hear the bride's family pays for her attire, or the groom's family does it. Maybe the bride has to pay for it herself? Maybe the groom personally has to select it for her? I ask about the groom's attire, too!

Also, what would be the average or normal amount spent for the bride and groom? Does the bride have a higher budget than the groom, or are their clothing worth around the same amount?

Same Game Only: Say you married the love interest you loved the most and had children with him, and then he unfortunately passed away…You’re a widow with children, and your late husband wishes for you to remarry…Which love interest would be your second husband and stepfather to the children?

I know this is a scary plot to think of, but you'll have to think within the same game...

I will keep it vague and spoiler-free here...

In Hakuoki, I think any of the Shinsengumi except Keisuke Sannan would offer to be the second husband and be the father who steps up for the other's widow and children! That being said, I feel like if it's Toshizou Hijikata's widow and children, there might be worries since he's practically everyone's leader, and so, would anyone be good enough to take in his family as their own?

In Piofiore, Orlok would probably take in any child in need of his care...It'd be interesting if Dante would play stepdad to Nicola's children...I don't want to imagine the other way around...Imagine Nicola playing stepdad to Dante's children...Yang ain't stepdaddy to nobody, I think. Gilbert wouldn't be too bad of a stepfather, I'd say...Actually, I think it'd be interesting to see Gilbert playing stepdaddy to Dante's children or Dante playing stepdaddy to Gilbert's children due to the whole debacle regarding bloodlines in the mafia...

Who are some love interests you'd let your daughter bring home? Who are some love interests you'd call the cops on and file a restraining order for should your daughter bring him home?

I'm messy af. Let's see what everyone writes!

My daughter is dead to me if she brings home Nicola Francesca, Keisuke Sannan, and the entire Diabolik Lovers cast, to name a few.

Mommy Dearest would be proud of her daughter if she brings home Hajime Saitou or Orlok!

Where are the best websites to find royalty free pop love songs for otome games/visual games?

I ask because I love it when otome games have actual pop love songs in which a real person is singing and the lyrics somewhat fit with the narrative! Thank you so much for everyone's help!

What are your thoughts on most otome games having a love interest who is the "one true person" for the protagonist based on how important their route is to the narrative of the game? Do you tend to go for these characters? Do you romance them first or last?

I ask this question because, oftentimes, these characters are the creators’ pets, as someone else calls them. While I oftentimes do go for the “main male lead,” sometimes the villain or the secondary characters make better lovers for the protagonist, even if their storyline doesn’t seem to be all that cohesive.

I don’t know if this is true or false, but I’d argue that Toshizou Hijikata from Hakuoki, Dante Falzone from Piofiore, and Ayato Sakamaki from Diabolik Lovers are the “main male leads” for their respective games. Does that mean they are inherently the best for the protagonist? Of course, not! Still, you might have to come to terms with the fact that this character adds something special to the story…

I personally go for the “main male leads” most of the time. Not always, but most of the time, I do.

How would titled people be addressed in the BR and PR dialects?

I ask this question because I love Netflix's Bridgerton, and I was wondering if it differs in Brazil and Portugal.

Let's use a made-up example...

Mina Keiry, Duchess of Troyvault.

Since she is a duchess, she'd be addressed as "Your Grace" in English. "Your Grace" is for the duke and duchess. "Your Majesty" is for the King & Queen. "Your Highness" is for the princes and princesses.

Antonio Liliyara, Count of Mikayle.

Since he is a count, he can be addressed as "my lord" by servants and the common people.

Do we have a "my lord" or a "my lady" in Portuguese? I was told by a Portuguese person that Madame and Mademoiselle were used in Portugal. Is this true?

Also, how would a mafia boss and his second in command be addressed in Portuguese? Or are mafia romances not that popular, or do people just use the Italian titles?

Muito obrigado pela vossa ajuda, meus amigos. <3

How would this dialogue flow smoothly in Marathi?

Hello, friends! I do not speak Marathi, but I have this woman in my life who is the best older sister a woman like me could ever ask for!

I am going to surprise her with a comic of her favorite anime couple...Before I do that, I need dialogue to work with...Here is the script. I will specify whether it is the man or woman that is speaking since Marathi has gendered words...

Please feel free to change the dialogue to make it sound more romantic and flow better in Marathi. I trust everyone's judgement! Thank you so much in advance!

By the way...Is goad mulgi wrong for a man to use on a woman? Should it be Majhi Sakhar, Majhi Basundi, or Majhi Puran Poli instead? IDK if the internet is playing tricks on me...Also, for men...If his name is Laxus, it'd be turned into Laxya to sound cutesy, yes?

Script

Lucy: For a sweets seller, you sure don’t have any words of sweetness to talk!

Laxus: You are already sweet enough as it is.

Lucy: Huh? What was that?

Laxus: Forget about it, goad mulgi.

Lucy: Ugh! Whatever. I don’t know why I even bother conversing with you, Laxya!
