Okay so I had a random shower thought the other day and wasn't really sure where to ask but what happens to a compass in space? Does it still point north or does it just keep spinning or does the earths magnetic field mess with it?
Hey everyone! So I'm going to start making my own mead but I'm a little unsure on what sort of bottles to use once the mead is made. I'm not sure if I should go with the large cork bottles or the ones with the swing caps. I'm looking at doing 500-750ml bottles.
Any advice would be great!
So I know this is a thread for the Belgariad and Malloreon but I'd like to give some love to The Elenium and Tamuli series. It took me about 10-15 years after first reading The Belgariad and Malloreon to actually even find out about these series and fell in love with them instantly.
To me personally I feel like these are probably a bit more of a mature series aimed at older readers compared to The Belgariad and Malloreon. Whilst there's some of the same themes in each series like a stone being some great power i.e The Orb of Aldur and The Bhelliom, prophecies, men vs gods, even Polgara and Sephrenia are very similar. There's more themes of revenge (Sparhawk and Martel), domi talking about rape being part of war, prostitutes, infidelity, even the fight scenes seem to be described with more blood and gore.
I honestly don't know which series I love more. They both have loveable characters, awesome worlds, great scenes of good vs evil etc etc. I also love the relationship that Talen and Berit have over the course of the series. It's just so wholesome. I just don't really see anyone on here posting about them so I just wanted to give a bit of love to these two series that hold a special place in my hart.
Also shout out to Little Mother and Aphrael as I absolutely adore both of them. And another shout out to the boys Berit, Kurik, Ulath, Tynian, Bevier and Talen!
Heya, so I have an iPhone 15. I've had it for about 2 years now and my screen has been playing up for the last few months. Whenever it gets cold or even if my screen gets a bit of condensation on it plays up. Is this a common issue and if anyone else has had the same issue do you know how much it was to fix it?
Heya! So I just bought a bull bar for my 2000 Nissan GU Patrol and I was wondering if anybody had any video tutorials on how to install it as I'm not super mechanically minded. Cheers!
Why did they make the ladies so THICC
So just watching Windbreaker season 1 and I wanna know the song that plays around the 8 minute mark in episode 8 where Sakura and Togame are fighting. Any one know what it's called? Cheers!
Hey everyone! So my mum has a large jungle python (about 7.5-8 foot) and she's wanting to upgrade her enclosure. I was wondering if anyone has done any custom vertical enclosures around 3.5-4 feet wide and about 5-6 feet vertical. If anyone has done anything like that could you comment with some photos? Just trying to get some ideas for when I build it for her? Doesn't have to be the same measurements just wanna get some references before we start building. Cheers!
So my phone did an update overnight and I can't stand the new bubble display and keyboard. Is there anyway of changing it back to how it used to be?
