Anyone up for an offbeat Coorg trip from Bangalore??

Hey! We’re planning a Coorg adventure from Bangalore, 14–16 August.

Think Nishani Betta trek, forest jeep trails, hidden waterfalls, coffee estates, camping + bonfire nights definitely not your usual relaxed resort trip.

If you’re into adventure, meeting new people and a little bit of chaos, reply here and I’ll share the details!

Wayanad in 48 Hours, 48 Strangers, One Unforgettable Weekend

We kicked off our Wayanad trip from Bangalore on the night of 19th June. What started as 48 strangers on a bus quickly turned into a weekend full of conversations, dancing, music, and new friendships.

Over the next two days, we stayed at Mirage Luxuria Inn, went boating, explored Karapuzha Dam, tried ziplining and Twister, had a pool party followed by GJ socials with a live jamming session, bonfire, fireworks, and a DJ that kept everyone dancing till the end. 🕺

Next day visited the breathtaking Kanthanpara Waterfalls, stopped at sunflower fields, and even surprised everyone with a visit to the beautifully lit Mysore Palace on our way back.

Our favorite part? We never rushed.

At Gulaab Jamoon Experiences, we don't believe in squeezing 10 places into a day. We'd rather slow down, let people connect, enjoy every stop, and return home feeling refreshed, not exhausted. Sometimes the best souvenir isn't a photo. It's the people you meet along the way. 😌

If you missed this one, don't worry, there's always another adventure around the corner. Stay tuned for our upcoming trips and behind-the-scenes moments on Instagram 🤪👇

Heading to Wayanad from Bangalore on 19–21st June. A few people are joining solo, so thought I'd check if anyone else here is looking for a weekend getaway.

In case anyone's curious, this is the trip I'm joining: https://www.gulaabjamoon.com/trips/wayanad

Anyone up for a Wayanad trip on the 19th–21st June long weekend?

Three day weekends are too rare to spend at home. 😭

A few of us from Bangalore are planning a trip to Wayanad from 19th–21st June. A good mix of people, some exploring, good conversations, random memories, and a break from the usual routine.

We're still putting things together and seeing who all is interested before finalising everything.

Just wanted to see if anyone else was looking to travel that weekend. If Wayanad sounds like your kind of plan, DM me and I'll share the WhatsApp group link where we're discussing the details.

Always fun meeting new people and having a good trip together.

Anyone else refusing to waste this coming long weekend at home in Bangalore?

Three day weekends feel too rare to spend scrolling and saying next time😭

A few of us are planning a Wayanad trip for the 19th–21st June weekend.

Curious what everyone else has planned for the long weekend.

What’s the most Bangalore student thing you have done?

Could be surviving on ₹50, travelling 2 hours for one event, attending something just for the free food, anything 😛

A few of us are trying to build something fun for Bangalore students

A few of us recently started building a community for students across different colleges in Bangalore. The idea is honestly pretty simple meeting new people outside our usual college circles and creating a space for random plans, trips, conversations, events and good memories.
Would genuinely love seeing people from different colleges join in and make this a fun space together instead of everyone staying in their own bubbles 😭

RCB reaching the finals was easier than finding a place to watch it in Bangalore

Every place is somehow already full during matches like these 😭

What’s a random moment from a trip that still lives in your head?

Could be a chai stop, a conversation, a song playing in the bus, missing a train, literally anything.

It’s strange how some people become such a big part of a memory and then slowly become strangers again.

Trips, college, old friendships..sometimes you don’t even realise when someone goes from being part of your everyday life to just a memory.
What’s a phase of life or person you randomly miss sometimes?

Thought this trip would be average, ended up becoming one of our favourite memories

Started as a random plan with almost no expectations and somehow turned into one of those trips we still keep talking about 😭 Sleepless bus rides, random food stops, getting lost twice, taking way too many pictures and somehow bonding with strangers over the dumbest things.Made us realise most travel memories are never really about perfect itineraries, it’s always the random moments in between.
That’s honestly one of the reasons we started
r/gjexperiences too.
Wanted to build a small space where people could share travel stories, hidden spots, chaotic moments and random experiences like these

Built a small space for people who love travelling ✈️

Every trip has that one random story, hidden place, chaotic moment or picture that deserves to be shared

So we started r/gjexperiences for exactly that.
A small community where people can share-
• travel stories
• hidden spots
• aesthetic pictures
• travel recommendations
• solo trip moments
• random travel chaos
• literally anything travel related 🌴
Would honestly love seeing people share their experiences here and build a fun travel community together 👀

What’s one thing you never forget while travelling?

Headphones, snacks, chargers, skincare…
what’s your must carry? 👀

Let people guess the place from the vibe alone
Could be sunsets, mountains, food, train journeys, anything.
Let’s see who guesses the hardest one correctly 🤝
We’ll start with this one 🌴
