I know that most of the live career of the doors, Ray uses the Gibson organ, but there’s just something about the Vox Continental from the early shows that sounds so good, so vintage. In fact, I love it so much that I own a 1968 Vox Continental and 1971 Fender Rhodes Bass :)

Coffee Studio was a best. I get flat white and it was very delicious, but also the most expensive of the ones I’ve tried.

It seems like the freshest flower batch from Simply Bare is Plumz which was packaged early April, so not even that new. I've already had it a couple times, so I want something else from simply bare but something fresh. It seems like all the other strains are from March or earlier.
I have a 1968 italian-made Vox Continental. Everything works well, excect that the keys are bit stiff/sticky/squeaky. This makes the playability very difficult and its very hard to do slides (smears/glissando) as my hand gets caught on a stiffer key. Can't even do it with just a few keys.
How can I fix this so that it plays super easy, nice action, and I can do all those sliding organ tricks with ease? FYI, I'm not a technical person, so an intense fix might be out of my league.
As the title says, Simply Bare needs to drop more strains. They are my fav brand but the options are limited. At the very least, they could still drop new batches of the same strain. That would work too as at least we would have something fresh. They most recent package date they currently have is mid March, and considering its July now, everything is fairly old.
I've tried all the highxotic flower and every single time there is one missing variable, the high. It feels so muted and seems to wear off very quickly. Has anyone else noticed this? And no I do not have a high tolerance. I've continued to buy highxotic because everything else is great from the look of the buds, to terps, to the way it breaks up nicely, smokes pretty smooth, etc. Its just the high isn't for me. If I had to choose which one I liked best, it was the 1st bath of King Kong. 2nd batch was weak. Currently I have the Scarface OG and smoked a big joint 30 min ago and now its already worn off where I don't feel anything.
So many amazing vocal harmonies, but which song do you feel has the best vocal harmony and why?
For me, Wouldn’t it Be Nice is amazing. “It only make it worse to live without it”.. in the chorus, this harmony is so beautiful with Brian hitting his classic falsetto. Then in the verse while Brian sings lead, the boys are doing that wonderful ooo sound that is so nice for the lead vocal to sit on top of. In the outro, it goes back to the chorus harmony but more extended. “You know it seems the more we talk about it, it only makes it worse to live without it, so let’s talk about it.” Wow it’s so good. I watch a YouTube video breaking down this harmony and it’s quite complex. And trying to sing Brian’s lead/falsetto in this song is one of the most difficult.
Also want to say Surfer Girl has one of the best harmonies as well. Again it’s centred around Brian’s falsetto that he effortlessly transitions in an out of throughout the song. In the bridge, you get Brian’s lead where he extends the vowels to give that vocal a dreamy effect all while the boys are providing that backing harmony for Brian to sit on top of. This all amalgamates into an amazing outro.
I love the sound of analog gear. Have some nice mic pre’s and analog compressors. One effect I do use a lot of reverb but I can’t stand the sound digital reverb. What I love the most is real plate reverb, but due to the size/cost, it’s not practical. Is there any analog reverb gear that would sound close to a real plate reverb from the 60s?
I do have a fender reverb unit, but it’s spring reverb meant for electric guitar. Works good for that but not for much else.

For me, my favorite is Simply Bare. Even though I got burned on a batch of Tea Time, but I guess it was my own fault as it was like 4 months old, so it lost all its terps and was not good. And even with my latest batch of Plumz, I didn't love the compact buds that were hard to breakup, taste couldve been better, but loved the high. The rest of their stuff is great and imo the best in the Canadian legal market.
2nd favorite is hard to say, but if I had to, I guess I would say Highxotic. My issue with them is the high is a bit strange in that I need to smoke a real fat one to get a proper high, and even then, it seems to completely wear off after a short time and feels like I didn't smoke at all once I've come down from the high. Other than that, the bag appeal, terps, the way it breaks up into kinetic sand are all top notch. Today I will be grabbing their new strain called Scarface OG.
TBH, I wish there were more great brands that really did it for me, but most I feel are quite average.

Luckily I jumped on a M5 Pro 2 months ago and love it. Every day you see a post here asking if they should wait for M6. Well now with the new price hike, woud’ve been better to jump in the M5 family when they launched. Now imagine if the redesign is gonna be the MBP Ultra, what that price will be. Like 10-15k for a higher spec one is just insanity.
To those that purchased before the price hike, good on you. This is why sometimes it’s best not to wait
EDIT: I just checked bestbuy canada out of curiosity and you can still get the original prices (if you aren't customizing it of course). So if you are in the market for a MBP, get it asap before other retailers raise the price
Only one I’m using is Pretty Merch which is a bit expensive imo for what it is, especially with how buggy it is. But it does show me my sales in a way that is very helpful. I hate the way Productor looks
If you look at bodybuilders, who have big bulky traps, it’s it is not aesthetic imo, nor do women find it attractive. The issues is that it changes the perceived width of the shoulders. Definitely good to have some traps, but most male models don’t have much traps at all. They mainly have a wide clavical
Our prices for products are insane. Amazon have water bottles defaulted at 28.99 but who is paying that much for a water bottle on Amazon, especially when you can get one for less than 10 bucks.
I think 90% of the products we have available with merch are not even close to being price competitive and makes me wonder if its even worth putting designs on them. Now that I think of it, standard t-shirts is the only product that is somewhat competitive, even with how its been going over the years, I won't be surprised if amazon continues to drop the royalty rates on them. I'm sure it could get to a point where a 19.99 shirt only gets us 1 dollar in royalties.
I think its time to find other ways to make money. I will always keep Merch, but its really not dependable on its own.
Maybe 8-9 years ago I was using Logic Pro, then my Mac stopped working. Well I just recently bought a new Macbook Pro M5 Pro and got Logic Pro. I haven't done music with, but it looks exactly the same as I remember it. Has these been any new features they launched over the past several years that I should know about? I am recording my own music which is like folk, reggae, etc.
